Firing Mechanisms are craftable in a furnace, I think you need to go through the quest line of soldier to learn how to craft them.

I have no idea how to get Energized Stars though, I've run through all the class quests and never got any crafting ingredient for them, and I've never seen it drop.

Edit: If you enable admin, it appears to be craftable at the furnace, requiring a dying star and aegisalt ore, no idea how you'd get the crafting ingredient, but if you want to spawn it in, enable admin and craft it through there.

Edit 2: Crafting and using the item doesn't seem to do anything, it might not be intended to be used, or it's a planned feature of sorts, I'm not sure.

It unlocks a dangerous Tech. Use at your own risk, and definitely do not use it in your ship or base.

Oh yeah, I meant to check back on this chat, I ended up finding it after a bit. Thnx though ^^
