i could be wrong
it probably is just a issue with the system not recognizing it as compatible with WOTC
I was wondering if you could add my mod to your soundtrack lists in the description:
https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3557987812
My mod is like E3245's, but I add XCOM 1, XCOM 2, and the DLC soundtracks, so they can all play alongside new MMS soundtracks.
Also, I was interested in continuing development on MMS. If you're comfortable with that, please send me a message. Thank you.
I think it's possible, but you need to use the SDK to edit the packages. You need to edit the CUE file for the song, and remove the looping node.
I think, if you do that, MMS might pick another song? Or it might just fall silent. I'm not sure which.
