The Metropolis District

A district in the Art Deco style inspired by Fritz Lang’s movie Metropolis from 1927 and the architectural drawings of Hugh Ferris.
With 25 unique megastructures along with a few variants, it’s my most ambitious mod so far ! Keeping close attention to its inspirations, some of these towers are gigantic and will dwarf most of the vanilla buildings : the iconic New Tower of Babel from the movie culminates at 1200m (3940 ft) for a radius of 700m (2295 ft) !

⚠️ All but one tower take advantage of the newly added height offset parameter from the modkit : they also feature lightbrush-activated façade light-beams but they need to be fully pulled-up for the brush to register.
⚠️The giant buildings are too large for the brush to work.

The Metropolis district includes several new props :

-11 spires
-1 airship mast with and without a moored Zeppelin
-2 radio masts
-a wall clock
-a wall tunnel entrance
-2 wall bridges
-3 planes including two real models and a fantasy airliner

How to Use the Mod :

1. Launch Dystopika
2. Press ESC > Create/Load City > New City
3. Click + next to Mod
4. Start your city and enjoy.
