Universal Animations Fix

Beskrivning
Ever tired of NPC's aggressively T-posing at you instead of actually aiming? This mod is pretty simple, and just replaces the default combine and metro-cop animations with all-inclusive packs, that allow them to fire all weapon types.

Tip: You will need to restart Half - Life 2 for these animations to take effect.

  • Features ===
    Metro-cops can now properly use the AR2 and shotgun weapon types.
    Combine soldiers can now properly use the 9mm Pistol and .357 weapon types.
    Combine soldiers can also now swing crowbars and stunsticks, but for some reason stay crouched.

  • Bugs ===
    Combine soldiers may sometimes crouch awkwardly (does not affect elites or shotgunners)

i'm amazed that this somehow works with reskins? i have it loaded above a model replacement for the metrocops and it just works, doesn't cancel out the model at all

Did you ported the MapBase fixes to Half Life 2 to make these fixes?

If so could make a version that corrects their animations with SMG and AR2 too? MapBase also have fixes for those!

Toucan, its useful because some mods that are ported to hl2 from a different game like entropy zero 2 or something, where they might make metrocops with shotguns, are able to have animations in hl2, where they don't t-pose.

Does this allow npcs to spawn with said weapon?

No, you acknowledged a different detail, but hey. I'm not the debate police or something. :trump:
