WebKnight's Two Primary Weapons

Leírás
Small mod that will allow you to carry two primary weapons like PUBG or DayZ

So what does this mod contain?
  • Simple custom animations
  • You can enable weapon saving, so after respawn you second weapon that you had will be loaded again. Usefull for scenarios where your gear saves on each death.
  • You can select a position where second will appear on your character
  • Works with any weapons mods that have ever existed in a workshop

YOU CANNOT SWITCH WEAPON WHEN
  • You are in any vehicle
  • You reload your weapon
  • You are captive (Undercover, handcuffed etc)

System isnt perfect, but it gets the job done. If you want to modify or change any of the code, feel free to unpack it.

Hello, just subscribed, I'm new to Arma 3 and I'm enjoying this mod using the Prairie Fire (Vietnam War). If anyone would be so kind to help me find my saved games it would be greatly appreciated. I've read that they are in the documents folder, but I am unable to find them. Everywhere I've searched I'm unable to find them. Please help, thank you.

i noticed is when Swapping the Primary Weapon that has a Barrel Launcher around, it loses the loaded Grenade and replace it.

Effectively losing a Grenade Launcher round.

If you use a weapon with attachment, switch between the other primary gun the attachments of the first one dissappear

when using a weapon that has a config with attachments included, if you switch to another weapon like a launcher or put it on your back, and switch back, it appears with those attachments instead of using the base weapon and attaching only those attachments if it even has any.

I encounter a slight problem ; when my AI teammate is equipped with two primary, he starts acting all weird. Now I know they can't swap between the two weapons and that is fine, I equip them with two primary so I can take control of the AI in different situations (eg. one primary as a rifle and second as a CQB asset):

But when they are equipped with two primary they struggle to rally up and keep formation, they start wandering around and their path finding is all broken. Does anybody had the same issue ?
I reckon the mod was not intended for this purpose but if there is a way to fix, I'd be really glad to know.

Other than that, this is a bit sad you cannot save compositions in Eden with two primary equipped, I found a way by storing the second rifle in a backpack or ACE gunbag and equip it upon scenario start.
Overall really useful and cool mod, thanks for the job done here !

Would have there been a way to re-write how Arma 3 saves weapons within the loadouts? Would've been neat if that was something included within this mod.

Hey, just to let you know I found a bug with this mod. When swtiching weapon with this mod and using ravage zombies the zombies stop running up to the player and stop about 5m away.
