THIS MOD IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED, COMMUNITY RUN PATCH HERE

heyyyyyy buddy, if you haven't noticed by now, the mod's development is finished. I'm not updating it anymore.

Tired of your decaying flesh prison? Crave the strength and certainty of steel? Well this is the mod for you!

+Updated title because you all cant read.

Adds Robots as a separate genders for humans

HAS:
16 different heads
5 Achievements
Skins
Hireable Robots
Pain sounds
Pressure Immunity (up to 2000m)
Doesn't need oxygen
Immunity to bleeding and Husk
Repairing system
New items
14 Exo-Frames
NanoDye
New pets
Genetics overhaul with 18 unique drives

Overrides Human.xml and other items. Any issues you may encounter are caused by mod conflicts.


However, these benefits come at a cost of having to deal with constantly draining power, only satiated by consuming the power out of battery cells and fuel rods. And the vulnerability of electrical components to water.
But Exo-Frames can be used to protect against water damage and recharge your battery!

Repairing robots is tough work! It will take lots wrenching, screwing, and welding to get a bot fixed up!

Most issues are probably due to other mods, put Robo-Trauma at the top of your mod list

Change human AI to work better with robots especially relating to medical.

Another post because unfortunately it needs to be said, but the creator of Robotrauma Remake deleted a couple of my comments taking issue with the enhanced amount of damage robots are taking.

Sorry but Robots in Robotrauma should not be instantly dying from Acid from Ballast Flora, my friends can testify to this.

I would not recommend the Robotrauma Remake mod unfortuantely.

Burn damage is multiplied. Acid Burn Damage is multiplied. And by the looks of it your health pool is even lower.

Basically, Robotrauma Remake essentially gimps Robots to the point it's not nearly as enjoyable anymore.

"Pain sounds" suggests the robots feel pain :thefarmer: so much for the "certainty of steel"...
