WARNING: THIS IS NOT A 4K TEXTURE OVERHAUL

Mod that bumps up resolution of various lower-quality textures of the game, to make them visually on par with the rest of the environment. Cardboard boxes, cash registers, monitors, books, snack machines, dvd players, garbage, and many more.

This is more of a "tweak" than a full graphic overhaul - as the textures are only double their original size and not in 4k - and it focuses more on balancing the visuals and avoiding making the game reach memory limit too easily (considering the game is still a 32-bit application).

Since the mod changes various textures found in the game, it might conflict with other graphic mods, and depending on the mod it could cause issues or not.

More updates to follow when I find more of these low-res atrocities.

Does this mod just do environmental textures or does it include weapon textures, infected textures, etc? Just being sure so I can avoid any conflicts!

Good mod but when I use this the sodas and pizza boxes turn shadow realm black, not bashing this mod for causing it but must be an unhighlighted conflict in my modlist

KUDOS, this is exactly what the game needed - not 4k, but just touch-ups to double textures which are too small for modern resolutions. You've done a stellar job.

Hello, and sorry for being so lazy these days. I've pushed out a little update which removes brands on dish soap and snack machine, plus improved trash textures with a new AI model and also upscaled van's texture by double, since its texture size was lower than most other vehicles.

I didn't know they were bugged. I'm sure there are plenty of vehicle remastering mods out there, but obviously they are not necessary to use for this mod.

Hey, I know this may have nothing to do with your addon, but just so you know it. The addons you recommended in the "best paired with" apparently cannot be used together and the vehicles remake addon has a bug that totally recolors trucks to weird colors like blue or orange, and to make things worse, the owner doesn't seem to be around to fix it. Do you think you'll be able to fix it yourself? Or do you know another addon that can be used for a similar purpose? Thanks in advance.
