IMPORTANT
I do not work on Garry's Mod add-ons anymore. It's too difficult balancing life stuff with projects like this. I highly recommend looking at alternatives if you have any issues.

Description
Half-Life 2 Campaign is a gamemode for Garry's Mod. The gamemode allows you to play Half-Life 2 in Garry's Mod without being given all the weapons and Sandbox equipment. Oh... and you can play with friends too!

Help
  • gm_showhelp (F1) - open the help menu.
  • gm_showteam (F2) - show navigation marker.
  • gm_showspare1 (F3) - spawn a vehicle.
  • gm_showspare2 (F4) - remove your vehicle.
  • hl2c_admin_physgun [ 0 ... 1 ] - server admins are given a physgun.
  • hl2c_admin_noclip [ 0 ... 1 ] - server admins are given rights to use no clip.
  • hl2c_server_force_gamerules [ 0 ... 1 ] - server forces HL2-style gamerules (AUX & Ammo).
  • hl2c_server_custom_playermodels [ 0 ... 1 ] - server will allow custom playermodels.
  • hl2c_server_checkpoint_respawn [ 0 ... 1 ] - server will respawn players at checkpoints.
  • hl2c_server_dynamic_skill_level [ 0 ... 1 ] - server will dynamically change skill during gameplay.
  • hl2c_server_lag_compensation [ 0 ... 1 ] - server will lag compensate NPCs.
  • hl2c_server_player_respawning [ 0 ... 1 ] - server will always respawn players.
  • hl2c_server_jeep_passenger_seat [ 0 ... 1 ] - server will spawn jeeps with an extra seat.

FAQs
  • Are there Sandbox features? - no and I don't plan to add them.
  • I host a dedicated server! - type 'gamemode half-life_2_campaign' in the console.
  • Does it come with Half-Life 2 maps? - this is a gamemode, not a content pack. I will not include the maps from HL2 as that is illegal.
  • Can I play the Episodes? - there is no support for the Episodes yet.
  • Can I get rid of the HL2 crosshair? - yes! Just type 'hud_draw_fixed_reticle 0' in the console.

my friends experience weird graphical bugs, while for me it runs fine. Except the performance is slightly worse than original maps.

Dzlx you can use the gamemode by selkting it in the gamemode tab and if you want hl2 wait until the orange box droppes to 1 dollar or bellow defently worth it you will get a loot for the money, most of the valve clasics.

Mod so good they added it to the game (not really but we can pretend :spycon:)
Thank you for your hard work all those years ago so that my friends and I could play the campaign with our silly gmod addons. though this addon may be redundant now, it shall live on as a core memory for me and i'm sure plenty of others :slimetabby:

Vorts of the void, same here trying to find a gamemode like this one since this one doesnt seem to be working on my end (or at all) anymore, weapon removal mods just aren't enough, i also want to play gmod campaign maps without knowing i can just pull up the spawn menu and noclip, i hope there will at least be a fix if not a successor to this mod
