Craft Metal Barrels & Rain Collectors

Enables you to craft Metal barrels which can contain items and convert them to a Metal Drum that collects rain and produces charcoal - subject to having the requisite materials and skill level.

All vanilla barrels that have a lid on them are convertible. You can also craft your own.

The barrels are indistinguishable from *VANILLA* ones (except for textures), so any mod that works with the barrels you find up in Louisville will work with this - unless someone makes a mod that checks specific sprite names, but that would be silly, considering there is a function that returns the appropriate set of sprites.

To craft a Metal Drum (water collection/charcoal production), you require:

1x Barrel (obviously)
1x Propane Torch (with at least 5 units remaining)
1x Welding Rod (with at least 2 units remaining)
1x Welders Mask
Metalworking Level 8

Since you need level 7 Carpentry for the regular wooden barrel, I chose Metalworking 8 for this. Earn it.

To craft a Metal Barrel (items container) which has the lid on and can be converted, or used as-is for storing 100/130 units of items (if you have Organized) you will need:

2x Small Metal Sheet
4x Metal Sheet
2x Scrap Metal
1x Propane Torch (with at least 15 units remaining)
1x Welding Rod (with at least 7 units remaining)
1x Welders Mask
Metalworking Level 5
(Additionally, depending on which barrel you are crafting, you may need a corresponding colour of paint and, if you don't want a rusty one, bleach)

Using bleach is arguably inaccurate but it has so few practical uses compared to Vinegar, bleach it is.

When crafting a lid-less drum, it will match the colour of whatever gets used from your inventory - if you have multiple different colours of barrel in your inventory, the game might choose to "eat" a different one and you'll end up crafting a different colour than you expected, either way though, whatever is consumed from your inventory will match whatever is placed in the world. You can always just pick them up and move them around.

You craft a barrel from the same Metalworking context menu that you would use to make a Metal Roof, Crate, etc.
