Description
Static drills is a mod that will add 3 new blocks to the game

Each of these blocks have the ability to mine whatever ore type is below them


This is great for servers because it will increase server performance, decrease the amount of voxel edits, and encourage base and outpost game play.

Static drills work with all ore types modded or unmodded any place were there are voxels.

Drills will lose efficiency when they are near each other
(any drills that are mining the same ore type within 50 meters of another will greatly impact the performance of the drill. The exact % is dependent on the distance)

Drill has to be in a voxel to start mining and the colors are below,

Color codes:
Red = Nothing
Yellow = Full or unbuilt
Orange = Functional
Aqua = Detected ore


Works on both DS and singleplayer and works very well with the Pipelines mod!

is there a spot or if not can I suggest adding how each type of drill is different. my assumption is the ADVANCED pulls more POWER but MULTIPLE ores, where as the BASIC only pulls one type of ore??

Resource Nodes Filters is my Version of the Mod with Filters and allows you to gather More then one Type from a Drill and don't have to be placed in the ground it can be on a Platform.

@Yazeke you can't. You'd have to remove the ice and get to the deposit first. You can use the "ResourceNodes Filters" mod instead of this one, it allows you to select the resources you want.

If the ore is on a ice lake, say iron, how does one get the Node to just get iron versus the ice ?

when i say normal i mean for this mod if you did not see The last time this mod was updated they are not working on it any more so nothing getting changed

No its def not normal as it would not be the only mod with audio effects thats saying something about it and also doesnt sound nor track right with surround sound (even broken still comes out fully 'around' you)
I'm saying this purely as given I have already remixed it as a mono track wave file it now sounds like how other audio effects. Its not critical but its simply done. If needed can supply the files redux'd even. (also lowered the dB by -3 so its not clipping out)

Get warnings for two of the sounds being recorded in 2 channel audio when needs to be in 1 channel.

Escaped Psycho not with this version you have to put the drill on top the ore for this version
