Monika's Beefy Weapon Sounds - MBWS [OUTDATED]

This version of MBWS is outdated and obsolete, for a newer, more refined and polished version
with a lot more content to offer, check out MBWS ACT II .


This mod adds and changes most ,
if not all sounds for weaponry to sound more punchy/beefy/satisfying.
It uses scripts that add the ability to use multiple sounds instead of one.
The scripts are required , mod will not work without them.

This mod is NOT Compatible with other sound mods that change the affected sounds
and mods that change the script.

If you DON'T have a custom folder , this GUIDE should help you set one up.


1. Subscribe and wait for the mod to finnish downloading.

2. Find the mod by going to: "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\1954333932".

3. Copy the file: [MBWS].vpk

- Includes a gameinfo.txt for those that can't get the custom folder working.

4. Then head over to: "Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bms\custom".

5. Paste the file into the "custom" folder.

6. Unsubscribe from the mod.

7. Enjoy!


If the sounds don't work , open up the console and type in: snd_restart

The sounds used were made by Navaro, Magmacow, Bethesda, and EA Games. The sound mixing was done by
『Herr Jäger』with some additional help from Gunship Mark II as well!
