Beskrivning
Left 4 Dead 2 has a lot of broken assets. Some are even from L4D1, some introduced in TLS.
I fixed all the things I could find because Nobody at Valve, or in the "TLS Crew" bothered.

Underneath the subscribe button is a "Prop Fix Collection" where I put other items that are fixed, but might conflict with other mods. Such as the Police car, Taxi and Church bus.

If you know of models that appear to be broken, let me know in the Fix Suggestion Thread.


But what does this pack do? i hear you scream from a passing bus.
Well, my friend, this pack repairs various models in the following ways:
  • Fixes Smoothing and "Normals".
  • Fixes material assignment where wrong or non-existant material was used.
  • Fixes LOD meshes.
  • Adds mesh to some props where parts were missing.
  • Fixes some models where the mesh looked bad for whatever reason.
  • "No Culls" some materials to avoid being able to look through models.
And some more specific fixes:
  • Includes a Vscript to precache the Armored van in C10M1 (Death toll map 1).
  • Changes height at which small trees start swaying because of wind.
  • Lowers triscount of sternwheeler skybox model.
  • Swaps Trafficjam model with nicer models.
    Trafficjam is officially only used in a single map (the sacrifice, behind hill of gravel) But many custom campaigns use this in the middle of the map, looking way out of place.
  • Fixes materials of crashing airliner, so that fog renders correctly on it.
  • Prevents vehicle glass from being colorable, like the red pickup in C1M2.

This addon work as it, without issues.
If another mod causes things to break now, that's not up to me to fix mess ups caused by adding someone elses mod to the game.

This was causing some broken tree textures for me on l4d1 campaigns. The console says it was only conflicting with the recently created Foliage Mod but disabling/removing the foliage mod never fixed those missing textures, removing this mod does... While I could unpack it and remove the conflicts myself the fact disabling the Foliage Mod doesn't fix the issue suggests the textures are missing in this? I dunno, maybe you could see if you can manage to recreate this, not that mad but letting you know my experience, maybe something else is wrong.

if the model isn't broken in vanilla, no i can't.
I'm assuming the problem is weird lighting (casue you didn't specify). And that would be caused by not setting the correct model entity settings in hammer, which can only be fixed if the mapper changes it and recompiles the map.

The flatnose truck(not Wrecked) got some issue I think,just like
THIS (maybe is part of the door's texture).
It don't show on the Wrecked one.

Ah yea, all those props with way too strong cubemaps. There's a few of those.
I wanted to make a mod including those i know of. Including some world textures and a fridge as well. I'm just a little too busy with other things so i can't sit down and mod a lot.

I just had a look. Turns out the vmt for it is still there.
But its of no use anymore because they added a change to the game itself, where the model now loads a different material than the living charger.

So i suppose i could just remove the mention of it. Thanks.

Just a heads-up you still mention the hung charger texture change in the mod description and in a screenshot despite the fact that you removed this change from the mod.
