I had the same bug with book of shadows only loading for hosts and I think it's because the tag is only initialized for the server instead of for clients, I've seen similar with other characters

Hey this is a fantastic mod! Small issue is that I believe the Book of Shadows tab only works for the host? A couple friends and I tested this and the tab only showed up for the world host. Strange bug (Maybe a bug? Idk??) but it's overall a great mod!

@Fataladdi the only bug I've encountered so far that prevents her crafting tab from populating is having caves enabled on a map you use Winnie with.

I'm super late to the Winnie party but I love the mod and I am also having the issue where the book of shadows tab is not there - is there a fix for this I'm not seeing in the discussion boards? Thanks!

@Lykos, she got an update in October so unless Klei pushed something that utterly breaks OC mods, she should still work!! Unfortunately her custom crafting tab does NOT seem to work WHEN CAVES ARE ACTIVE, I still haven't figured that out. Modding is not my first nature, unfortunately.

@Variant not more surprised than me, that's for sure. Thanks so much!! I've always WANTED to get back to her but it was just so daunting. I opened DST today and barely even recognized it lol. But man I miss my funky lil witch and want her to work PROPERLY, darn it!!

It took me WAY too long but I'm running out of things to do in quarantine and Winifred just hit the top of the list, so I'm FINALLY updating her!! I've already got her, uh... little hat problem fixed, and will be working on updating her dialogue, character selection page, and HOPEFULLY adding some new spells for her (they're there in her files, I just couldn't get them to work properly the first go around) and will be pushing an update through the steam workshop soon!!

I'll also be taking care of the Linux problem, my apologies for that because I've never used a Linux system before.

Hello, I am using DST on Linux and it has case-sensitive filenames. Your files images/hud/Papyrustab.xml and images/hud/Papyrustab.tex can't be found because you reference them as papyrustab.xml and papyrustab.tex in the Lua code. You need to either rename those files to lower case or change the code to reference the capitalized filenames.

@mosembre.... I love Winnie to death she's dear to me and I really want to fix her. But the longer I put it off the more daunting it becomes because Klei!! keeps updating!!! I haven't played DST in such a long time I don't even know what's going on anymore tbh. But I, too, would love to work on her again. Just really intimidated by it. I had so many problems getting her to work in the first place lmao.

I love this mod,sad to see it's not being worked on,it's been a year though,is there any plan to work on it? The only thing I want fixed is that there seems to be a bug that you can't have caves enabled in your world if you play as Winnie. Any hope?

Hi guys, several updates since my last patch have left this mod in a poor state. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to fix it properly considering the sheer amount of updated material Klei has released. I may try sometime off in the future but as it stands right now there's just too much for me to be able to handle effectively.

I really like the potions, but using 4 bluecaps to reduce make a -50 sanity potion is more complicated than eating 4 bluecaps, which gives -60 sanity, unless the potions can be made different and i'm wasting materials, i think the recipe could use a bit of a change

Technomancer, I believe you drop the book of shadows like maxwell, and then the crafting tab should appear (if it works the way I think).

@Faerendipitous I recently tried uninstalling AHA alone and even all the mods and still no crafting tab. I'd really like to see the spells Winnie is able to use but even creating a new server with just her doesn't seem to help.

@Faerendipitous I'm still not finding the crafting tab. The world I'm surviving on with her is a fully offline world by the way so I'm not sure if that'd affect anything but I've turned off all the mods except for her's and I still don't have the crafting tab. Should I fully unsubscribe from them or turn off her mod as well. Another problem I had is that I generated a new world with only her mod active and I still didnt see her crafting tab. It's still magic tab, fashion tab, black space.

Spooky. I'd suggest that maybe it has something to do with the load order, though I'm not sure how Steam handles that.

@The_Technomancer: Okay, well... I'm more baffled now than I was going into this fix. I subbed all of the mods you listed, and added them all to start with to see if it was a mod clash. It was, because Winnie's custom tab disappeared. So I thought to uninstall them one by one to see which caused the bug. I uninstalled Health Adjust and reloaded, and her tab was back with all other 11 mods installed. I ran a game with just Winnie and AHA modding the server to see if that'd cause the bug, but her tab was still there. I figured it might be two mods together clashing with her, so I went through with AHA and installed each mod one by one, connecting and disconnecting to my server each time. I went through all 12 mods and by the end, had your full list and the tab fully functional in the server.

I've tried resubscribing to the mod but that did nothing. The mods I have active (not all my mods) on Winne's world are:
1. Automatic Health Adjust
2. Bee Nice
3. DST Sign Plus
4. Finder Mod
5. Future Flingomatic
6. Global Pause
7. hambat damage holding
8. Health Info
9. no thermal stone durability
10. Set piece config
11. Winifred the Witch
