Well those are invisible walls that I've placed inside the props in order to avoid NPCS having bad path finding, so as an example: all indestructible props should have invisible walls inside them.

Now could I fix it? maybe a few years ago I could have, but today I've lost the knowledge on how Info_nodes work and how to correct NPC path finding.

P.S. almost all of my maps have this issue since I didn't really intended my maps for sandbox or posing, but I do understand the possible frustration that comes with ghost props, and if I ever regain my need for creation I will try to fix it.

this is an OK map yet there are issues the main one if you decide to remove something like a prop there in an version of said prop there and you cant see it or remove it. fix it ty

Well usually a game restart fixes the missing texture problem, it happens when you download an addon while being in a game (playing on a server for example).
I don't know about the random errors since I didn't use any custom props or textures, the only stuff that I added are the sounds.

apparently with a bit of research, i found it happened to others and was based in addons. when i disabled most of my addons the doors returned. not sure what causes this, but id be ready to answer comments asking just in case it happens to someone else. garry blease bix

Try restarting the game or verifying your game cache, if that doesn't fix the problem you must be using a mod which conflicts with the vannila Gmod doors.

Well, I don't judge the people who ask me if there are any jumpscares on the map but considering I have 2 videos on this map and literally the first line in my description says:

'This is a horror themed map. There is no story or jumpscares, so feel free to join in ;)'

So why ask the question? I mean I will answer them: no it doesn't have any jumpscares just a wannabe S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ambience, thats all.

At Azzmiy, I'd only ask that question as I think that is a hallmark of a bad horror map if they think having a thing pop up in your face and plays an exceedingly loud noise is a good way to scare people. Jumpscares startle and tyipocally don't have any sort of lasting impact on the player. Ambience and atmosphere can make or break a horror map (or game, for that matter).

Really, I think jumpscares are only good if they're to initiate a chase between the player and what ever horrific creature might have caused it. Even then, there needs to some leadup to it to get the player on edge before giving them a wakeup call and to have them commence with Operation: OFR with said creature. ('OFR' stands for 'Oh ♥♥♥♥, RUN!')

I guess I haven't noticed that when I was making this map, even though I have Skyrim with the Dragonborn DLC.

I actually called this map gm_ravenrock because of HL-2. You see HL-2 has a horror section which takes place at Ravenholm, since I was making a semi creepy map I thought calling the map something similar to Ravenholm.

To hide the hud you will need to type in cosole: cl_drawhud 0
But the ammo hud is a part of C.W. 2.0 weapons addon.

Did you just spawn a bunch of H.E.C.U. units? or did you use some sort of spawner. If so what addon?

Well the funny thing is that I newer intended this map to be NPC focused, it was more of a test to see if I could make stormy wheather in my map.
By the way, both thunder and rain sounds are custom.

Really great map! It's hard to find ones with such good AI navigation. The only complaints I have is it's kind of small, and very large NPCs can't fit very well in the central part of it. Other than that thought, it's amazing! :steamhappy:
