There's just used to be the mod, back on 1.3 which added mouse on the had, I don't remember the exact name, thought it was in Joost, buy I've been mistaken.
Ik mouse isn't the bird, and yet maybe you could do that.
Ah. Yeah, I can see how that would be an issue with how I coded it. I'm going to have to rework that.

Huh. I probably wouldn't have bothered making this if I knew that was a thing. Oh well.
Ducks, grebes, seagulls and toucans seem too horizontal, and like they might cover too much of the player’s head or just not look right, but I may try them at some point.
Owls have a forward facing idle state, rather than a sideways one and harpies don’t have an item form.
