Breads! :3
若彗 21. nov. kl. 5:30
I know this sounds weird, but after I added the Luxury Cake to the oven’s bill list, my colonists started getting stuck for no apparent reason.
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 20. nov. kl. 12:54
No
Karumano 16. nov. kl. 5:44
Can this be eaten Without a Table savely? Oo?
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 5. nov. kl. 4:37
I can't help you then. We need all bug reports centralized
老韩腿 5. nov. kl. 4:23
I can't do it. This website doesn't seem to be open in my country. I can only send the full error report here.
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 5. nov. kl. 3:40
Then I need a full bug report in those conditions, and posted in our bug tracker, which is linked above
老韩腿 5. nov. kl. 3:35
Yes, this error will still occur when I only have this mod and the necessary prefix.
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 5. nov. kl. 2:51
Do you get that error with just this mod on its own?
老韩腿 5. nov. kl. 2:37
I encountered a bug. I think it's the problem of this mod itself, because I found that my machine didn't work, and I just threw away all the potatoes, or deleted the work list of the oven, which can be solved without throwing away the potatoes. This is an error report. It is even a yellow warning entry, not a red warning entry, which made me very confused when troubleshooting, and it took me a long time to figure out what was going on.:appleAngela:
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 4. nov. kl. 22:45
Do you get that error with just this mod on its own?
Spinecone 4. nov. kl. 17:26
Hi Sarg, sorry to bother you - This actually isn't just Robots behaving this way, I'm having the same issue as LINX is, but it's with regular pawns, not just robots. I hate to say it, but this one really might actually be this mod having a technical issue rather than it being another mod interacting weirdly with it.

TryMakePreToilReservations() returned false for a non-queued job right after StartJob(). This should have been checked before. pawn = Noah, curJob = PS_BringToProcessor (Job_10354813) A = Thing_VCE_BakeryOven_Electric4576426 Giver = JobGiver_Work [workGiverDef: PS_BringToProcessor]
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 4. nov. kl. 3:02
I have no control over what robots from that mod do or don't do
LINX 4. nov. kl. 2:56
If there is a bill in the baking oven, for example, one Gourment confections bill waiting to be filled with ingredients for baking. But the process cannot continue due to lack of some materials, the Haulingbots from the Misc. Robots mod will all stuck after saving and loading the game.

generic hooman moat.gg 29. okt. kl. 7:23

Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 29. okt. kl. 7:16
We HAD diabetes, and we removed it because everyone moaned about it lol
The Blind One 29. okt. kl. 7:15
There's so much sugar in these confectionaries I'm amazed you guys didn't introduce diabetes as a downside for consuming them 😆

Will diabetes be part of the Vanilla Expanded Health? 😅 (I kid ofc)
Silas 29. okt. kl. 7:12
Ahh, okay. Sorry, still new to all the mods and how they work. Trying to figure out how to let my pawns eat the confections without them being considered drugs lol
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 29. okt. kl. 7:06
Milk is milk. Other milks are a different ThingDef
Silas 29. okt. kl. 7:01
Doesn't seem to want to register Night Milk as a milk source with the Alpha Animals mod.

Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 24. okt. kl. 10:53
We'll have to agree to disagree
The Blind One 24. okt. kl. 10:42
"The best comparison for balancing would be by opportunity costs, not silver."

The silver cost is generally tied to the opportunity cost to keep the game balanced. The reason sugar is so expensive in silver is because it takes so long for a sugarcane plant to mature and yield its 2 sugar (aka opportunity cost).

Let me be clear, for a gourmet and lavish confectionary, the sugar cost is perfectly fine and justified. There's just no use case for simple confectionary to be economically justified because the sugar cost is so high that it doesn't warrant its use.

I don't want the gourmet and lavish confectionaries to be cheaper, they are actually in a perfect balance spot imho. It's the simple confectionary and fine confectionary that are in an awkward spot where there is very little use for them.
Wet Poop 24. okt. kl. 7:38
The best comparison for balancing would be by opportunity costs, not silver. Thanks for the mod Sarg! This community is built upon altruistic modders such as yourself
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 24. okt. kl. 6:17
Who cares? Why are you even considering the cost of sugar? Are you buying your sugar instead of planting it?
The Blind One 24. okt. kl. 6:08
Take a look at the raw costs;

Simple Confectionary = 121 silver for the sugar, 80 silver for the flour, total 201 / 4 = ~50 silver a piece

Lavish Confectionary = 201 silver, 38 silver for the milk and 44 silver for the vegetables, total 283 / 4 = ~71 silver a piece

Gourmet Confectionary = 283 silver + 12 silver (assuming more sugar lol) = 295 = ~73 silver.

The majority of the cost of confectionaries goes to sugar by a large margin, this makes simple confectionaries a waste of sugar. You're much better off just going straight for gourmet.

a 5x5 field of sugarcane would yield enough sugar for about 1 confectionary per day with the current sugar costs regardless of confectionary quality.

The gourmet version takes less time to produce than the fine and lavish due to a low tick rate for it to process (probably oversight)

Sugar costs are too high for simple / fine confectionaries imho. Otherwise they are fine for the lavish / gourmet versions.
Darkequation 24. okt. kl. 0:37
Aww you just harvested and butchered a human? Have some cookie
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 23. okt. kl. 23:17
It makes 4
The Blind One 23. okt. kl. 18:48
Sugar costs seem quite steep ... 10 sugar for a cake batter? I need fields of sugarcane for my cakies lol. You just want me to run plantation slavery don't you Sarg?
xwinnor 23. okt. kl. 6:58
Question! Since they contain vegetable; How does the gourmet & lavish confections work with carnivorous xenotypes? Should i ban them from eating those or is the diet issues ignored?
Its not mentioned anywhere & i doubt somehow making meat-alternatives would be popular.
Frezla 23. okt. kl. 6:57
hey @Sarg Bjornson, Love both of your works on the mods! Just a quick suggestion for my ADD brain lmao. If your going to make a cooking mod that allows you to make Breads (can't wait btw if so) could you please add a recipe for ship biscuits? It could be a really good shelf stable option for tribal starts, they were used by 1700 sailors to not starve so i just think it would be a good idea. ^^"
Thanks!
Loldaddy5676 23. okt. kl. 6:24
This will make a fine addition to my collection
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 22. okt. kl. 22:50
@CheesyCat: The difficulty with food mods is not coming up with theme ideas, is coming up with new mechanics that add something to the game
Dust 22. okt. kl. 17:06
Me: "When am I ever going to use it?"
Also me: ~immediately adds it to my mod list~
xD
CheesyCat 22. okt. kl. 15:46
Random suggestion but would you ever want to try to make a Cajun style cuisine mod? I feel like it would be fun if you lived in a swamp area and had a colony of lil Cajun folk lol
Sarg Bjornson  [ophavsmand] 22. okt. kl. 9:43
I ain't changing the infographics lol
Peers 22. okt. kl. 9:25
