Hi! Sorry for the late answer: I was on vacation last weekend.
Yes, you can utilize and incorporate anything, please just give attribution to me, Riccardo Radici. Regarding the translation, that would be great! Let me know if you need any help (if some text is unclear, etc.)!
Only afterwards, I'll consider making it compatible with a couple other mods, but only if there is much interest. If someone wants to make the mod compatible themselves, however, they are free to do the job. Just let me know, and I'll provide all the support I can.

At the time, I did not frequent this workshop, nor did I upload it afterwards, since the mod had become outdated, and also because other - perhaps better - mods for Byzantium had been released.
Anyway, I could upload the mod (even if I don't have the time to update it right now): indeed it contains some unique contents, which should be published. Therefore, sooner or later I'll release it, and possibly also update it.
No. However - since your name inspires this discussion - in the far past I created a mod for Byzantium, provisionally named "Purple Phoenix extended by Anaxicrates". I created it for game patch 1.6, but never updated it, nor uploaded it on Steam.
At the time, I also released a couple gameplays on Youtube (in Italian), and one featured this mod. The relevant playlist is named "La Fenice Purpurea". I was creating the mod while recording the gameplay.
The mod is not as big as this one for Genoa, but it's not minor either. It is very outdated, since it features e.g. old-style missions. Curiously, it also anticipated some actual game developments, like the further subdivision the Greek and Latin culture groups (however, I also unified them in one super group).

Thank you very much for letting me know! I've solved the issue! Please let me know if you find any other bug!
Could someone report to me whether they also receive the strange, confusing message, that "This mod is made for another version of the game (1.37.5)", even if they are indeed playing patch 1.37.5? Thanks!
