I saw that this was already commented on, but I would also like to request that some of the more mechanical races from various universes be granted their own MACHINE class. Was hoping to turn the Borg into a "Driven Assimilator" race, but I could only make them a biological hive mind, not a machine race one. No rush, it's clear that you've done amazing work already!

You have to remove a special parameter from each portrait set. You can look at the vanilla portraits to see how they did it.

I love the idea of this mod. So it says that random spawning is off. Is there a way to set it to "on" in the mod settings? Or is the only way to have these spawn is to create them in game?

Hi. How would I go about to edit this mod? It seems like there is a lot of stuff in it, and I already have some of the mods that you have selected portraits from, like the Xenomorphs. I like the civics in that mod, but I would also like to keep them.

How would I got about removing the Xenomorphs in this mod, so that I could keep the other mod?

Hey, could you make a more immersive version, without the non-animated races? I do not want to sound exigent, and I don't want to make you believe you did a bad work, but at least to me, it really breaks my immersion seeing a bunch of static images of diferent styles and sizes.

It isn't as simple as copying it over, since a lot of things changed. I just need to add the portrait set to the MACHINE class. But for that I need to make a separate portrait set so that it doesn't get bugged.

Wait just saw the lower comments. Sorry for repeating the question. However, could you possibly just copy them over and change the trait? Example - Geth as normal race and a copy in the machine list? Just asking thats all. Great job on the mod btw

Hey do you intend to add a machine race patch? I know the mod like this from a few years back had a second mod to go with it that added the geth and such to the machine list too. Is that possible for you to do? I ask because the game needs the machine trait for me to use that government style.

Seems to cause some issues with the Sith race mod and Sartek's Star Trek Universe where the portraits will sometimes get bugged hair floating and outfits?

Huge issue: Mass Effect species like the Reapers, Geth and Rachni are incapable of using gestalt consciousness which is a *HUGE* issue.

As I said, I won't be doing that since sorting 200+ portraits on vanilla categories is very time consuming. If anyone wants to do it on their own time, feel free to make a fork of this mod, and I'll link it in the description for those who want it.

As I can't do graphical design for stellaris, I can't add new flags or icons to the mod. (it took me 2 hours to make a single icon for my Become the Dragon mod)

First, a thought, regarding most recent comment- would it be possible to individually tweak some of the species to have access to those kinds of species class traits?

Second, will this mod ever seek to incorporate any of the icon/flag collections as well?

@Ulthar; The portraits in this mod are assigned to special species classes, so they won't be recognized as any of the functional classes like Mammalian, Reptilian etc. They are just far too diverse for me to assign each one to a vanilla species class, so traits dependent on the class won't work for them.

fantastic. thank you for doing that. sometimes for evolution purposes there are specific race traits like laying eggs and wings by race type. how's that work here?

@Ulthar; The portraits of this mod have random spawning disabled, which means that you won't encounter them in your runs unless you create a custom empire with them and spawn it yourself.

Additionally, how do these additional categories play with the origins on ultimate predator?

As it is mentioned in the description, these portraits have random spawning off. There isn't currently a submod that enables it, I might make one in the future.
