Really cool mod, only issue i have is the world not being able to load if you have liquids from both sides of the world mixing.

I enabled the mod and when i travelled to the right side ocean, i found that the left side ocean had generated higher up and had flooded the entire right side of my world :/

With Calamity when i go to the sulphurous sea it works but if go deeper the game crahes.

Hi, just wanted to ask about wiring/actuating
I haven't tried with other stuff yet, but I couldn't actuate tiles near the edges, I'd assume that's a known thing?
Is it just a quirk with how the seamless transition is achieved, or is it a bug that will be fixed at some point?
Could also be a compatibility issue since I use a lot of other mods, if that's the case, apologies in advance :^)

i get where you’re coming from, but yeah it’s a bit annoying to be second-guessed over something I clearly already tested.
when i put “CALAMITY UPDATE” in the description, that means i actually verified it works. i don’t just throw that in blindly.

I do see that, yes! I've been following the thread since before it was added, and was annoyed at how many people asked despite it being there; however, I realized there was a possibility you had assumed ModTile support would ensure compatibility, and had not actually tested if there were other issues that could render it incompatible, so I wanted to make sure.

@countlessCritters you see how the description says ModTile support at the bottom with “CALAMITY UPDATE” next to it? pretty sure that should imply that i’ve tested it no? because yes of course i tested my mod with the most popular mod on tmodloader. i didn’t delete his comment to avoid answering a question that btw has an answer that should be obvious. its because his comments are, as you said, accusatory with baseless assumptions.

i've been getting a lot of compatibility questions so ill just keep this comment here for future reference. every mod other mod should be compatible unless stated otherwise in the description or someone reports it in Bug Reports that a specific mod isnt compatible. thanks.

hello update is released. newly generated worlds while the mod is enabled are optimized for the mod now. older worlds should still work they just wont be as optimized as their world generation won't be affected, more details in the description of the mod

Man, the shear amount of effort you put in just to make your mod and friendly and accessible as possible is pretty awesome. Most mod authors are like "This is what I made, don't like it, then screw you; you're not paying me." Which to be fair, is fair. But it IS really cool to see a mod author who is genuinely interested in increasing the enjoyment of everyone in the community.

Just wanted to give you three cheers, dude! Thanks for all the mod work.

@Ban yea i reverted the update. the new update was meant to optimize worlds so that you’re not losing world data (you used to lose about 30 tiles from each side of the world). i guess it’s too finicky with worlds already well into their playthrough. i will make the change for worlds generated after the mod is enabled and not for old worlds.

Tested, works now but for some reason

hello everyone, i reworked how liquids work in my mod so hopefully we shouldnt be stuck on the Settling liquids screen for as long as before. I had to rework how liquids worked anyways so that it works in multiplayer now; that doesn't mean the mod is completely multiplayer compatible yet but i'm hard at work in making that a reality. thanks for the support everyone :3
