Because most people understandably won't care about what I just said, to your question in the comments re: Discord, it sounds like you're pretty dedicated to the work... the same way I'm dedicated to women with Alyx's qualities (SHE GENUINELY HAS EXCELLENT CHARACTER TRAITS ITS NOT JUST ABOUT HER JUICY FRUIT OKAY), or people with even more brain problems than I have are "dedicated" to Mossman.... so, go with your gut. Create the Discord server. Muster all your creative energy, go forth and produce based things.

To your question in the desc, it's because some people are reminded of some schoolmarm type. As long as they realize Alyx is canonically whom Gordon would have a wholesome committed relationship with and help repopulate the earth like good resistance members, and have healthy relationships IRL, it's not doing anyone any harm to find a realistic depiction of a grown woman in media attractive. Otherwise, find the right therapist and sort out your problems, my dudes.
