Just one question:

Why is the light not on when I'm playing your map? I literally have to throw the damn thing to light my way through.

You should at least match the ranges on both the swep lantern and the sent lantern for consistency.

(this said, the hl2 flashlight is brighter and has more range than the lantern)

The range change is minimal, done to be able to watch more than 2 feet in a corridor so you can change weapons/drop the lantern. I promise that on a pitch black map you'll thank the range increase. It is as spooky as it was before, but you just can watch were you're stepping now

I feel like changing the range sort of ruins the feel that the original lantern had though.

I'd love to, but the hands are modeled along with the lantern.

This is a great addon but is there a way to change the c_hands?
