I think if you want to make an adjusted car without decals, you should make it a separate workshop item. This version honestly rocks and I don't care about the weird mirrored sprites.

Yeah, it seems like the way the game mirrors turning sprites means text will always get messed up- the only solution I think is to remove any asymmetric decals; so I might try that at least as a test.

It's definitely a little OP but I was going for the lore accuracy, haha

Loving the car so far! Looks and drives great. One issue, though; the decals on the rear bumper and the driver's side door are inverted whenever you drift. I was going to complain about it being overpowered, but then again, it's a race car in a game where the other vehicles are road-going sports cars and a VW bus, so that's accurate lol.
