That'll be cool if there are some Dragonborn playermodels and npcs coming out somewhere soon.

I could have a look at that once I've done some of the other things I want to do on this model, but as I don't really play the game it'll be near the bottom of my to-do list.

Honestly, if someone else wants to port this addon to L4D2, I don't mind as long as they credit me and add me as a contributor.

Finally. First she's in Tower Unite and now Garry's mod. Now if only we can get her in Left 4 Dead 2, my life will be complete.

changing the hand color works for me perfectly. If i change the color of the player changes the hands too.

I'll get around to the hands at some point but I have no idea why it's not working, so it'll take some time to figure out lol

Not with the same precision as the hue picker in the player menu, but yes. I'll add 10 options for changing the glow colour, and in there will be two different shades of green.

yeah, but would you be able to choose the glow color? I cant wait for the update then, green is my fav color.

At some point I'll be making the textures work with the gmod player colouring feature, so you'll be able to use any colour you want from the in game menu.

It wasn't performance issues, the model just had too many polygons and would glitch out when compiled.

Thankfully, the source engine can handle reflections fairly well (considering how old it is) so that shouldn't be an issue.

I would say sticking with just one outfit would be better, at least to start with. Each outfit would need to have its own model if they are very detailed, but if the polygon count is low enough you could possibly use bodygroups.

Body types, such as male and female and the strong variants of each, would need to be separate models anyway due to the differences in skeletons. Skeletons cannot be affected by bodygroups.

If you have a spare few hours, I recommend following a gmod playermodel tutorial for blender. With some experience you'll be able to port any model you want.

I barely got Karlach to work because she was hitting the upper limit of polygons in the source engine. Even when splitting her into different models, sometimes random vertices would be completely out of place and unrecognisable.

I could imagine dragonborns being possible with different models for the body types and bodygroups on the heads. I think the main issue is with the amount of detail in the hair. Since the dragonborns don't have hair, it maybe could be done?
