I left this comment on IDEAS, but no MAX LEVEL/LEVEL CAP mod works with this mode FYI... Maybe it would be a good idea to have the level cap set higher, as right now the maximum is 50. :joker:

Is there a reason why Gelt has such a rough start? Pushing into the Vale of webs is absolutely nightmarish and sets you back super far, and leaves you super vulnerable against the Skaven in the south and north

would be cool to see larger regional powers. not just to decrease the amount of minor factions but since the old world is established you get challenge from the start.

Love this mod upgraded my Hardware for this mod blazing fast turn times now and an amazing warhammer experience i cant play the original map any more . Thank you for all the hard work that must have been put into this mod.

You can only play one campaign at once, so I'd guess putting in all the effort to isolate the two mods from each other and change the game UI just isn't worth it when you just enable one mod and disable the other.

Just a quick question, I'm having an issue on a Karl campaign where in his capital the landmark building of "Castle Reikguard's stables" isn't showing up for me. This also happens to be a very important building to have since a new quest line I haven't seen before is asking me to have it built soon. I have a stupid amount of mods on and it could definetly just be on my end, but after taking off all landmark type mods (and the Castle Reikguard's Stables is a new vanilla landmark), I'm wondering if the Old World mod might be causing an issue. If anyone could let me know If they see that landmark building in their campaigns I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

The turn rate in WH2 took at least 5 minutes no mods and 10 minutes with mods. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. After the optimization update hit did turns become 30 seconds or less.
This mod's turn times is NOTHING compared to that. Stop complaining guys, it's seriously not that bad.

Hey, love the mod and the amazing work that goes into it. Thanks a ton! I've played many campaigns on this map.
I've only found a small issue when playing as Bretonnia (tested multiple times as Couronne), their confederation technology has an option to confederate your own faction, that's tested without any other mods.
It also blocks some of the technologies from SFO for Bretonnia for all Bretonnian factions when playing with SFO. I'm sorry if this was already reported. Thanks a lot!

I get crash during the first end turn on Mac OS playing as Kislev, haven't tried other factions.

unplayable due the round loading times the more u advance in campaign. wouldnt be surprised if it will reach 2h waiting time at some point. basically more waiting than playing.

Honestly what could be cooler instead of over 400 factions. we keep some minor ones but maybe to cut down a little bit we make the major factions start with more territory

Decided to test again, uninstalled and re-installed every single mod I have and turned off a few mods I know don't work right on Old World. This time, it crashed on end turn phase on turn 19. I'll try to move Old World higher on my mod load order.

It may be a conflict with another mod, but ordinary campaigns are fine. But, when I start an Old World Campaign, the campaign crashes anywhere between the end turn phase of 21-23. I tried Clan Skyre twice, I tried Drycha now to the same effect.
And when I reload the campaign and try to go to the next turn, another crash. At this point Old World is no longer an option for me, even after I pruned 20+ other mods trying to find the problem. I would do more tests, but having to sit through 5-10 minute end turn phases just for tests is brutal.
Since this is likely a mod conflict, at this point I'm only wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.
RECAP: Once a new campaign gets up to 20 turns, between the 21st and 23rd or on either the campaign crashes, and trying to advance results in more crashes. Other campaigns, only Old World has this issue.

I've asked before, but didn't get an answer. For some reason I can't play as some LLs, for example Miao Ying. She's chosen as the default LL for Cathay, but her portrait isn't there and if I swap LL I can't choose her again. If I choose Cathay, have her as my faction and launch the game I get an instant loss when the map loads as my faction is defeated. Am I missing something? I have Mixer installed.

I had a similar issue. You need to unsub from:
1 Mod Configuration Tool - v0.9 Beta
2 The Old World Campaign
3 MIXER - Mixu's Unlocker
Then delete any left over files in:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER III\data
Resub to the mods and it worked for me

Not sure why but started crashing on launch when using this mod getting a database error on "cr_oldworld_campaign.pack"
invalid record is "cr_oldworld_political_party_emp_vaults_augustini"

You could also play one of the reduced campaigns: Old World Classic or Darklands Campaign. Less factions, so shorter turn times.

Love this mod but I'm getting LUA errors at campaign start since update. Only conflict in mod launcher is Mixu's Unlocker which is required to run OWC. Anyone else?

Just wanted to say I love this mod and enjoy it a ton, keep up the good work!

Also I noticed the realm of nurgle is basically complete with how it looks as well as tzeentch, but I am wondering how the progress is on the realm of khorne and the realm of slannesh, would really enjoy playing in those areas when they are more complete like nurgle and tzeentch's realms. Thanks!

I was able to get new games to work on it but saving is finicky. I ended up just disabling MCT and full reinstalling the game because I had already tried the other suggestions. Thank you anyway

I don't know then. I'd try unsubscribing and resubscribing to MIxu's Unlocker, MCT and this. Also double-check you're on the current version of the game and haven't got any mod .pack files in Data.

Yes and i had MCT for a time too because Mixu's unlocker recommends it. Mixu's is first in the load order. The only mods i've ever installed are this, mixu's and MCT, and i dont even have MCT enabled anymore. I'm sure i'm doing something stupid and obvious but i'm not sure what it is
