Large batteries have 3 times the power/mass of small batteries, and twice that of small reactors.

Some good details on this build, I'm stealing the ground down neon antenna, that's genius! Interestingly enough I'm working on my own speeder, and came to the same conclusion as you about the number of thrusters. 4 for lift seems like the magic number for good handling.
