i know it wouldn't be "vanilla style" seem as this was the approach you went with to animate these weapons with, but i think using the animations from the link below could technically be classified as vanilla style, since this was officially made by valve for the arcade release of L4D2 in japan, with the only difference being some slight modifications made by the mod author by said mod:

but i think most people would collectively agree that this is much better than the animations we have on the game by default wich is basically a port from counter-strike source.
cant wait to see if being used on other gun mods
that is, if the creator allows it
