Yeah apparently in the Journal Recipe, it did the B42 one and did not bring the B41 one, so yeah all I had to do is just write what you gave me and it seems to have worked!
So anyway, uhh what you wrote for me down there, am I supposed to find it somewhere and edit ooooor something?
You'll have to treat me like if I am a toddler who just learned walking and now need to learn talking XD
The value for B42 should be:
"item 1 [Base.Notebook;Base.Journal] flags[Prop2] mode:destroy| item 1 tags[Glue] flags[Prop1]| item 3 [Base.LeatherStrips;Base.LeatherStripsDirty] mode:destroy| item 1 [Base.Thread;Base.Yarn]" without the quotations.
For B41:
"Notebook/Journal|LeatherStrips=3|[Recipe.GetItemTypes.Glue]|Thread" without the quotations.
I also checked the values, seems fine, and I don't think I have the craft menu fix mod as well so I should be fine there too! that and I placed the mod to the top of the mod order juuuust in case! didn't work ^^;
Also, some "craft menu fix" mods might cause issues too - If you can modify the load order (MP) I would recommend trying to change the order.
I feel like maybe I am missing a step or something, it been a long while since I used it sooo help? XD

I have considered the fact that players not looking at the tooltips is partly the cause of confusion. The tooltip red text and fractions for xp regained could also be a bit vague so that could be improved in that regard.
Thanks for the quick reply.
We have this mod on our server for a long time. A little problem is that everyone assumes that Journals are multi-use, probably because they're used to it on other servers. So the problem is that when we turn on single-use many players are surprised and think it is a bug and report it to us.
There isn't any indicator on the journal that journals are single-use and players need to learn it the hard way when they can no longer get experience or the journal becomes 'worn out'.
Is it possible to make any update on your end to tell players that their journal can only be used once?
Of course, it's also partly on us to get the information out to players, but that's not always possible.
Thanks.
1. Copy contents from <SteamCMD>\steamapps\workshop\ to a safe location (if you care to keep it)
2. Download the MOD through SteamCMD manually
3. Delete the entire contents of the <SteamLibrary>/steamapps/workshop directory on the dedicated server
4. Copy the contents from <SteamCMD>\steamapps\workshop to <SteamLibrary>/steamapps/workshop
5. Start the dedicated server and allow it to re-download all other mods utilized in the server

I also tried going ahead and using the "optional" mods along with it - loading them first, and received the same errors trying to load them.
All errors happened even after trying to delete the following and restarting the server:
<SteamLibrary>/steamapps/workshop/content/108600/2503622437
<SteamLibrary>/steamapps/workshop/appworkshop_108600.acf
I have errors from other logs, but they were too long to post here - let me know if more is needed
I am reading the description and found this "For B42+ these two mods will be required" but I don't which mods are "required" I haven't seen it mention by the dev in the description
Can somebody help me?
