@Beza Industries work fine; however, if you have the Tycoon and Monopolies mod, 2 new units are added to the game that create industries. Builders no longer create industries

I want first to thanks you leugi for your great work, i love monopolies and corporations and i play with it all the time.
But i also wanted to know if there was a known mod imcopatibility issue, because when i bring a tycoon over an industry or around a luxury in foreign territory i cannot put any kind of improvement ...
I just can remove the already existing industry. I tried going to another obsidian (i'm playing with ressourcefull and sucritact's ressources/oceans) , improved and unimproved, and i tried with another ressource too (poppies) , but my investors just don't want to put anything down ...
Can someone help me ?

Hey Leugi, just letting you know that when the strategic view is on, it says "missing art" on the tile where there is an industry or corporation. Additionally, it messes up the icon for the abalone from sukritact's oceans when it becomes an industry/corporation. Still works though

Any chance this mod could be updated to include strategic view icons for industries and corporations? They are not appearing in my game.

Ooooppppsss.. sorry for having bothered with that pseudo "Indonesia/Jong" flaw.
I had completely forgotten that the necessary unlock step is the Mercenaries Civic & **not** Square-Rigging for it.
Sooooo.. move along, everything is just fine with your Monopoly++ pack -- so far. ;)

Hi Leugi.. i've finally activated your package of four special ++Monopoly & currently testing it all at once.

Some glitch happens with "Square-Rigging" tech that prevents the Frigate from being shown in the Tree and/or tracker HUD field of regular details/Icons -- instead it only has (error) the Embarked Units Bonus "symbol".
Maybe that flaw is caused by the Shuffle/Trees Mode or indirectly via Gitarja's Jong that replaces it --- or for whatever other reason(s).

Can you confirm or explain, please?

PS; I've already scanned through DB data in the relevant DebugGameplay.SQLite tables but couldn't really detect any obvious hints about the exact flaw(s). While i have around **47** mods active.. i doubt anything else in them could be responsible for the above unless your stuff adds a tricky conflict somehow to the default Tech'ing components involved.

Please elaborate a bit: does it increase or decrease the tourism bonus of monopolies and products? Currently the tourism brought by monopolies is too high, with the fact that AI doesn't rush to monopolies, making it too easy to win the culture victory. So I'm looking for some mods to reduce the bonus

@Odysseas_84... Well, nothing could be done about the AI. There's already several AI mods released here in Civ 6's workshop, and even those can't save the AI from shooting itself in the foot.

Until Firaxis releases Civ 6's dlls (or never, ever), nothing modders could do about the AI.

So... for now, i don't mind modders make stuffs that makes human players even happier

This game is designed from day 1 to milk the free work of the community (including yours), add content for sale which content is not supported by the AI, take Civ fans for granted and expand to new customers, who not only bring tons of extra money for the developing companies, but have no clue about what they or the AI are doing, so the non-existence of it can be conveniently hidden under the carpet.

It is like the human player builds industries, corporations and monopolies, while the AI is sitting in the corner, saying "I got an arrow in the knee" and quietly waiting to lose the game.

So with all the respect for the great work, I was just wondering: is making the ignorant human player happier about making even fancier structures our priority here, when the AI can't even improve its marble and is just waiting to be defeated?

If I understand right, the corresponding AI part of the original game is broken. Well, one could claim that the entire AI of this game is non-existing, but the introduction of corporations in the game has further broken an already broken AI.

The AI is now unable to even improve luxury resources up to the point of economics when corporations are unlocked. There is a mod which tried to enable corporations already in the classical era (which is really ugly indeed) so that the further self-crippling of the AI at least doesn't last for half of the game. If what I read is right, the developers have no idea about how they messed up again and they have avoided to address the issue.

@True Shadow: Yeah, it requires Kublai Khan + Vietnam because of the Corporations mode. However, I might make a future version which enables Tycoons and Train Stations without the mode. Gotta take care of some RL stuff first tho.

@Eva-kun: It does use some of it, specially you will see some Train Stations in AI territory. Still haven't managed to force them making warehouses tho.

I wonder if something similar to adding gold to the corporation tile can be done for each of the resource you have, with different yields. Like each wine you control adds +1 culture to the corporation tile.

Does this increase the amount of products that can be made from resources? I always find it annoying how in the base game I can only make X amount of products from one resource before I'm not allowed to make anymore.

Oh wow that is awesome. I just came to download the Monopoly setting adjuster, but this and the Tycoon mod look to really make things more interactive. And I won’t have to harvest great merchants just to have them sleep half the game till I can turn them into corps.

For now the mod doesn't adjust the product slots of JNR's buildings (that being said, JNR already redistributed the product slots a bit). Will make sure to check the distribution when Commerce District Expansion is active in a future update.
