Playing with your combine armor mods almost exclusively.
They look grownded enough in XCOM universe for it to not feel like a "campy Predator movie",
but also "alien" enougt to be immersive. Loving it. Practically a uniform for my squad.

The "Front Soldier" class mod works well for the Charger, as does Ranger (since the charger WAS supposed melee Alyx with a shock baton, but it was scrapped since HLA wasn't meant to have melee combat).

now we need people to make classes of the half-life: alyx combine, with the weapons too ! ! !
