the beam sets its start position to the fire tracer and since some weapon models dont have that, it might cause errors with some weapons

Ok, now that some time has passed, i actually quite like the bug for some weapons. Therefore, if you can, i would like you to simply upload the (as of now) broken laser as a separate addon. You may have just created a really cool new addon without even meaning too: a dynamic laser which is applied to every weapon you have.

So ehm, theres a little bug.

The laser is applied to every single weapon in the spawnmenu. Honestly for some guns with dynamic recoil (that means that the cursor isn't locked to the middle of the screen but to where the actual bullets are going) its kinda handy, but still its a pretty big bug i'd say.
