also forcing steamOS to run window version of gmod is also an option.

it works for linux, (at least my branch after fix), steamOS is based on linux, so most likely it will work

technically it was more-so implied that you could do that, but the point of installing windows on steam deck still stands

considering they said that you can do that on the steam machine (and you can also already do that on the steam deck, from what i've heard), that definitely sounds possible

Can't you just install windows at least dual boot on it

This mod is now Obsolete — the original creator is no longer maintaining it, and it no longer works with the current version of Garry’s Mod.

Even though the original download links are still available, the module files are outdated and cause startup errors like:

failed to open action manifest

If you’re running into those issues, try the updated version instead:

@CP so dont play it then. Everyone who has downloaded the module has not been hacked or any virus put on their pc. You can trust it or not; no one is forcing you to play Garry's Mod in VR, but if you want to, you must have the module. or develop your own bro.
