dirty block ecome parcialy invisible i not have dramatic terrain instaled.

wath i can do to fix this? Pleasee
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 4. feb. 2022 kl. 17:45
If you remove Dramatic Terrain and still have the issue, try painting the blocks. If they do not get any colour, please follow the instructions in the pinned discussion.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 4. feb. 2022 kl. 17:39
This mod does not work with dramatic terrain. They are 100% incompatible.
xbxbxb123 3. feb. 2022 kl. 23:31
I noticed a bug, and I'm not sure if it is only because I had dramatic terrain installed as well, dry dirt was white
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 26. juli 2020 kl. 13:39
It should be, yes. It does not add any spawn-able items, and the most dramatic change is a slightly altered fossil game file to make the textures appear correctly... which I might be able to get rid of soon because of an alternate technique for changing the terrain.
boblebuildeur69 25. juli 2020 kl. 5:00
is this mod clientside?
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 21:10
There you go. One update with a working fix.
Timtee [CVHN] 30. juni 2020 kl. 21:04
Aight. Then again, Sandbox likely isn't gonna compatible ever for the other mods.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 21:03
I am working on a fix for Sandbox right now.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 21:03
You should consider going through your mod list and getting rid of mods that you don't need. Like the monster fall damage thing, which is already in FU.
Timtee [CVHN] 30. juni 2020 kl. 21:00
Then again, I never knew it was incompatible, as it wasn't listed in FU's list originally, and doesn't cause issues, that I know of, with it either.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 20:23
Sandbox is not compatible with the following mods:
- Frackin' Universe
- Optional Story
- Optional Erchius Mining Facility Quest
- Nebula Pack (Nebulan Intro) [ community.playstarbound.com ]
- Felin Intro Mission
- Natural Slopes
- Scripted Artificial Intelligence Lattice (Customisable A.I.)
- Supper's Monster Additions and Supper's Npc Improvements (They are already included in Supper's Combat Overhaul , which is required for this mod)
- Manufacturer's Touch

--From Sandbox's description page, since you didn't read it.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 20:19
I should also note that Sandbox says it is incompatible with FU as well, so you should probably remove it and any associated mods... unless you have a patch for it.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 19:57
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 19:57
The mod "Sandbox" is incompatible with this one. It even says so on the mod's page. I will look into seeing if I can fix that, but I doubt it.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 18:49
You have quite a long list of mods... Going through them one by one will be a pain. I am going to subscribe to the list temporarily so that I can debug faster. -_-
Fortunately, I have most of them already.

Hey, if you wanna look thru my list of addons then, go for it. But... I know for a fact that I didn't have any replacing the texture. Cause my friend also had the same issue of the cobblestone having a nearly invisible texture. (As in, the texture seemed to be not aligned properly to the block itself and therefore, wouldn't render right.) But atm I'm busy with other things, so feel free to let me know if there is a mod in here that would specifically cause issues. (I originally had both the natural slopes and craftable slopes mod. But I removed both given that they were the cause of the issue.)
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 17:38
Make sure you don't have any other mods that overrides the cobblestone.
Timtee [CVHN] 26. juni 2020 kl. 19:43
Cobblestone of all the blocks fails to render correctly, and becomes transparent partially.
PolarBear 10. mar. 2020 kl. 18:38
I can run the mountains. Thank you!
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 8. feb. 2020 kl. 15:44
Every tile that you want to be affected by this has to have a new texture and have the rendering switched to the custom sloped rendering.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 8. feb. 2020 kl. 15:43
It only effects Vanilla tiles. It should be compatible with FU.
TheEndangeredCarmine 8. feb. 2020 kl. 2:53
So wait does this also effect most of the Frackin Universe tiles too and is this mod compatible with Frackin Universe?
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2019 kl. 22:27
also I have priority set to 99999, because it is well over 9000.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2019 kl. 22:27
If a mod adds its own patch file to the materials, that could cause a problem.
Azure Fang 29. juli 2019 kl. 20:53
Unless I'm missing your meaning, of course.
Azure Fang 29. juli 2019 kl. 20:52
Not sure why that would be an issue. If a mod introduces a new material, you only have to add support if you really want to; not your mod, not your problem. If it's rerendering of vanilla you're concerned about, setting a deep enough priority - say, 9001 for the memes - should be sufficient to ensure your mod always renders barring a deeper set priority.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2019 kl. 20:20
Yea, but the vanilla blocks' rendering is being overwritten by the patch files so it still would have to override other mods.
Azure Fang 29. juli 2019 kl. 20:16
Probably a better method. Leaving vanilla intact is always the most compatible, and thus preferred, route.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2019 kl. 18:19
AKA move the sloped textures to a different folder so the vanilla textures are not overwritten.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2019 kl. 18:19
I am probably going to rework the mod so that all the natural tiles are still there, but patch the material files to use the sloped textures for generation/rendering; since the game loads the textures directly. It might make the mod a little larger, but I wont be messing with scripts and every texture would work for the fossil game without me having to add each texture manually.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 14. juli 2019 kl. 22:55
I am not a pixel artist, the mod contains template images you can use if you would like to add asphalt. Though I am working on getting better at pixel art, I am not at a point where I feel comfortable releasing any pixel art I make. You can go to the CF forums to grab a copy of the mod and unpack it.
I Am Atomic ♥♥♥♥ Of Democracy 14. juli 2019 kl. 22:20
Can you make mod like this for asphalt ?? :Miew:

Updated
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 14. juli 2019 kl. 20:25
Im not going to post an update with the fix until I can verify it works properly, but it is not easy to find a fossil on those blocks specifically.

Could you get the log file, paste it in pastebin and put the link in bugs&issues?

@Author
Just had the mod crash a fossil. It was in underground generic layer "underground1b" - Rock 19, Gravel, Plant Matter, and Water, using Rock 19 as the fossil rock and Gravel as the fossil dirt.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 5. juli 2019 kl. 14:25
The mod is now also on the chuckle fish forums.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2019 kl. 17:31
I am not a pixel artist, I am a programmer. I edited one of the fossil game scripts to work with this mod properly.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2019 kl. 17:29
1) I didn't make the textures I am only maintaining the mod
2) not perfectly smooth, there are very small occasional bumps.
3) If you want the dirt to be less smooth you are welcome to attempt to make it less smooth, the pak file can be found in your steam library, \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\211820\1626143257
lazywombat 1. juli 2019 kl. 15:22
well, not PERFECTLY smooth like you've done
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2019 kl. 11:35
If you are just going to complain, on the original mod page and this mod page, you can leave. If you have an actual issue that I can help with you can post it in the Bugs & Issues thread.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2019 kl. 11:34
You obviously havent seen hills irl. Dirt can be smooth.
lazywombat 1. juli 2019 kl. 4:29
dirt isn't supposed to be smooth
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [ophavsmand] 16. juni 2019 kl. 16:38
Alrighty, you open up steam, right-click on Starbound and click "Properties," then "Local Files," then "Browse Local Files," and finally you will open up the "Storage" folder to find the Starbound.log file.
