What is REALLY needed is something that flags which mod the game choked on when attempting to load so you don't have to constantly load/reload to discover which one is bad.

I think a nice addition to this already stellar mod would be the ability to group mods into folders or collections, so that you can enable or disable full groups at a time.

@kuato Your best bet is to check the Modding log file normally located in ~\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs\Modding.log

@meow Load order is determined by the priority set in the .modinfo file of each mod by the mod author. So you can adjust load order manually by editing the number set in the <LoadOrder> tag in the modinfo files of mods you've subscribed to.

Unfortunately the actual code that handles loading the mods isn't accessible to modders, nor is the capability to read/write files on the host computer. So not much I can really do regarding that sadly.

Is there a way to sort mods by date enabled? It would be really useful to see mods that I enabled last in case something causes issues.

Is there a way to download a list of all mod IDs for CustomFilters.xml? In Mod Manager I can see the ID of each mod, but I can't copy it

I'm having a similar problem to ZaphodsShades's, and some mods have stopped working entirely. Real Meteors is one example - even when it shows as active, it doesn't do its thing.

I have a problem. I can start a game with the selected mods working. But if I save and restart all the mods are gone. They show up in the Mod Manager list and are in the active column, but they are not active in the game. I am running on Mac OS X 14.4.1

Idk if this can be done without changing the filters file (since you don't want to touch that) but a "mods not included in any filter" filter would be nice, especially to quickly identify mods that snuck into the activated list because of an update (I have all mods I usually play with in various lists such as "UI", "Animated Leaders", "World Wonders", etc).

Using this and a few other UI only mods... enjoyed half of a great game and had to save and come back. After reloading the save game, all mods are no longer enabled on the save. Yet they're still enabled in the mod manager... What gives?

@FinalFreak16 - is there a way to have a mod list that disables enabled mods if detected? Example, I have a UI Mods list the enables various UI improving mods including Better City States (UI), but I want to have another mod list that enables CIVITAS City-States Expanded and disables Better City States (UI), if it's enabled, since they're not compatible. Is this possible, or am I just being obtuse and not seeing how to do it?

Just a suggestion, I don't even know if it would be possible. It would be nice to be able to create custom folders to group mods have an option to enable/disable all mods in the folder. Awesome mod anyway!

New Update:

I have added a new feature whereby your enabled mods configuration is automatically saved to a specific custom mod group when leaving the additional content screen. You can use this group to quickly return to the last used configuration.

I also believe that this will prevent disabled mods from activating themselves when updated.

Please do let me know if you have any feedback or come across issues.

Not related to this mod but since Steam won't let commenting on the Collection's page I'll post here:

It looks like some mods in the Civ 6 UI Package collection are merely not supported anymore at best and outright not working anymore at worst. Could you update that collection list, please? :2018thebesteye:
