Just to be clear, when you say "at any time", you mean from the armory menu inside the Avenger, right? Or is there some way to open it during missions (ex., to see the loadouts more easily)?

Do not use this MOD together when [Tutorial] is enabled.
Otherwise, it will cause you to be trapped on the [Squad Select] screen and unable to exit.
Of course, this will be a great MOD when you don't enable [Tutorial].

@p6kocka after playing the game with 10 man squads, and having to customise them, This mod is great so i can modify before the mission so i can just play the mission instead of spending 20 minutes customizng them before launching mission Thank you creator.

If I recall correctly this is a mod used as a pre-requisite for a strategy overhaul in development. It's released here because it's fully functional as it is pretty much.

And besides it's useful for example if you install other mods that let you make uniforms, cohesive squads, or so on, so that you can get all that done before a mission even generates.

Don't feel compelled to use it if you don't understand it!

Thank you Stafford for pointing out this one. I used XCOM Alternative Mod Launcher to check for conflicts, which it didnt find any, but i dont use it to actually load the game. I did though , after reading your post. Indeed, the mod worked perfect. What's more bizzare is that now, after using XCOM AML once, now even using the Firaxis Loader ,the mod also is working. I would had never think of that if not for your post, cause a couple of Classes i added after the new launcher installed, they worked flawlessly. Again thank you for your help. Happy gaming :)

Is the MOD problem with new Firaxis loader still a thing. I haven't seen anything to indicate that it has been fixed. It will NOT load newly subscribed mods.

I can't make it work. Just to give you an idea of the situation , i unsubscribed and subsribed again, i had already installed X2WOTCCommunityHighlander, i dont use any mod that changes the number of team members. Any help ,suggestion or idea would be greatly appreciated cause i was looking for such a mod for a long time. Thank you in advance.

question, would it be possible to add multi loadout functionality? thats my fave part about LW tbh, but no one has ported that aspect of it sadly and the beta mod currently out doesnt work with some of the other mods i feel are required for how i wanna play

The only 2 mods I can think of are Detailed Soldier Lists and Extended Personnel Info. I used both of them when developing this mod. Furthermore, the latter is made by me and I would be amazed if it somehow causes an incompatibility

This works but l find l have to right click to go back to the squad screen having clicked on a person to fill a slot. i.e. the list of soldiers you pick from doesn't auto close when you click someone, although they are picked successfully.

What can l provide you to help you find the issue? I currently expect its a conflict with one of the 'more soldier info' type mods l run as well.

However, I launch with AML and it doesn't indicate any conflicts so not so obvious what's going on.

@KT Chong I've just tested with a controller and it works fine (and I'm sure it works with mouse since that's what I normally use). If the bug happens again for you, please provide more details.

RE button name: the next button reads "View Photos" and that's what I based my text on

Bug: when I changed a soldier's loutout (i.e., primary weapon) from your squad selection screen, I was stuck at the loadout screen - the game did not go back to the squad selection after I changed the weapon, and there was no button to go back to the squad selection screen. Pressing ESCAPE key did not work either. The game was just stuck at the loadout screen. I had to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to terminate the game.

Suggestion: Use "Select Squad" instead of "Open Squad Select". Clear, concise, nice, short, and fits in and looks better with the other options in the Armory menu.

@tamashumi The only idea I have is that something went wrong while steam was downloading the mod (I had that happen to me before with another mod)... Try unsubscribing and subscribing again
