Valve recently changed it to where consistencies are forced in multiplayer now. (Wasn't like that before). But there is still a way to use mods online

So why exactly was this mod made? The infected make a crap ton of noise when they spawn and while alive so seeing them isn't that much of an concern if you can hear them outside the door, your own allies will even be telling you to leave the door shut and to not go out to get them because that's what the other team is gonna be wanting you to do, to leave your safe haven by using your comrades as bait so I don't really see either of those reasons to be a logical one for this to of been made.

@Gup, maybe do another version and just release both. That way it gives people the choice. I actually really like the idea of replacing "EXIT" with "DEAD END".

@Mampac I Could do that, but just know that will affect the vtf file and it wouldn't be compatible with any retexturing HD mods

this'll sound dumb but: any plans for the opposite version of this mod, where all the starting saferoom doors are replaced with the ending saferoom door instead? always felt like the saferoom doors weren't really safe at all with the giant window that zombies can just reach through lmao
