Looks pretty with that light dusting of snow on the roofs and trees I like it. I'm wondering though the bunting in that first photo, what mod is that can anyone tell me?
Asenath 17. okt. 2015 kl. 14:42

Mackish 29. jan. 2014 kl. 9:28
Will there be trouble if i have open cities installed at the same time?
Isith 21. okt. 2013 kl. 4:48
Beautiful work, when other snowy cities (apart from Whiterun already done), continue your launch;)
A Depressed Idiot 11. okt. 2013 kl. 13:25

Can't get this one to work. I have T.A.V.E for multiple other locations working fine, and am running no other Solitude mods that might be in conflict. Is it possible to source the files for manual download and install via NMM?
mycastlecellar 26. juli 2013 kl. 10:32
Geeze guys; just read what Aplestormy wrote and you know what to subscribe to and what not to. What's so difficult abou that; unless you're like eight years old? Duh?
Barsikov 6. juli 2013 kl. 22:48
Do I use this with T.A.V.E. Solitude, or if I use Solitude Snow is the normal one no longer necessary?

Not sure what it was, but this mod caused my stuff to crash after steam update.

@Aplestormy
Just published a little mod adding snowy weather for your 2 snowy towns on the Nexus
with links to them.

Please also upload Solitude Snow there too :-)
JNR 9. feb. 2013 kl. 7:08
Did you change the textures or did you just add dynamic snow effects to the objects' properties in the ck?
Z.I.L.F.Hunter ™ 4. feb. 2013 kl. 15:35
Thanks very much for this. Makes perfect sense regarding the position of the town !!!

This is what I needed in addition to snowy Whiterun, since I just created an esp that adds snowy wheathers to Whiterun, Solitude and the tundra for COT :-)

Now I will have to subscribe, pack a 7z for NMM and unsubscribe, cause I manage my mods with NMM only :-P

(You could add it to "Whiterun Snow" on the Nexus as optional file and rename the headline
to "Whiterun and Solitude Snow".
Would be less effort than creating a new mod page there.)

Will keep it as favourite here though and rate it +1 :-)

adding:

The snowy weather in the docks area is fine. But inside the city ends up looking like Windhelm (Dark Gothic city) with the reduced lighting due to the arctic weather. So if you install Docks of Solitude with the Enhanced Solitude mod, you'll lose most of the great visual improvements the Enhanced Solitude mod provides. Is there some way to overwrite this i.e. make the Solitude city version load after the Solitude Docks mod in the load order?

If not, and/or you're considering adding weather to the snow version of Solitude, please consider the impact the reduced lighting weather effects would have on the non snow graphics of this mod.

Thanks again for the amazing makeover of Skyrim city holds and towns :)

@aplestormy:

While I prefer the non snow version of Solitude Enhanced, this is a kudos for providing the community with yet another ingenious mod!

On a similar note: the Solitude Docks mod changes the weather system in Solitude to make it snow. The reduced lighting from the Docks Solitude mod kills all the improvements to the city's ambiance and physical appeal. But while this is more realistic--given Solitude's northern latitude location--this significantly reduces the textures and atmosphere created by the non snow version of the Enhanced Solitude mod. So overall, the city becomes aesthetically unappealing. :\

In the description, you mention items used outside of Whiterun, what items did you mean?
Koniving 8. dec. 2012 kl. 10:48
Request: Nexus version? Steam tends to be iffy about when it gets around to putting the mod in, and I would like the convenience of the NMM for putting it in and taking it out when it suits my youtube video for storyline seasonal changes.
Fibu 10. nov. 2012 kl. 4:35
It's snowlitude!

Jamescell 2. nov. 2012 kl. 19:14
Could you improve the cities without there own little maps, so like morthal, winterhold, ect.?
Jamescell 2. nov. 2012 kl. 19:13
You listened to my advice! Or just did it based on your own interest.
Grey Wolf Jack 2. nov. 2012 kl. 11:40

When are you going to do Winterhold? 3:
a wild frog 29. okt. 2012 kl. 11:55
Hmm, I usually don't download these kind of mods due to the fact that I'm a lore/geographical nerd. I like true lore and geography, but snow in Solitude seems a little more plausible than turning it into a jungle...
alenha 29. okt. 2012 kl. 9:34
I hate snow p
RexJayden 29. okt. 2012 kl. 7:28
Are these snow mods less taxing on pc's compared to your regular T.A.V.E. mods?
Lil'grandad 29. okt. 2012 kl. 4:04
the mods i have of yours are sensational, this looks fantastic, when you do a full mod i will sub, they all make sense(your mods) and are very well done and have enhanced my game and game playing considerably, thank you, look forward to solitude in snow (it is in the far north after all!)
sly 28. okt. 2012 kl. 23:05
Looks great, this will catch on.
SPG_666 28. okt. 2012 kl. 15:43
good mod but is it possible to have it alternate between normal and snowy weather depending on the season?
TheGamerTronShow 28. okt. 2012 kl. 14:44
not bad, not bad at all ;-)
