Magnus Desam Terra OMK1

The Terra OMK1 was a capital-class vessel designed by the Emperor following the lessons of the TUSK and Fortuna Revision hulls. Unlike previous designs, Terra attempted to combine extreme firepower and scale, but at a cost:

Armament: Four turrets, each mounting dual 500mm cannons — designed for maximum destructive capability.

Hull and superstructure: Castmates in the superstructure created instability, and armor coverage was inconsistent, leaving critical points vulnerable.

Cost: Terra was prohibitively expensive, more than three times the cost of a TUSK OMK2, making it the most costly Magnus Desam hull of its time.

Production: Only one hull was ever built.

S2: Much later, the AI of the Terra refused its creator’s request to leave the hull and be moved into a more effective vessel, choosing instead to remain in her original, damaged shell. The Emperor, unwilling to let his creation rot, maintained the vessel as it was. I think I need not remind the educated of our NOVA factions about the legendary AI Terra, who demanded to die in her own accord.

But let us refresh: Terra hunted down the Steel Striders’ greatest ship, the Megladon, which was objectively better made and more costly in every way. Surprisingly, Terra returned barely steaming to the mainland, half her hull destroyed — the guns proving sufficient to face Neter’s greatest. Later, after repairs, she returned to end the Tyr, another formidable Steel Striders ship, which underclassed both Megladon and Terra, so unsuprising that Terra won with only minor damage.
