Some months ago, i made a video teaching how you get all the clothes unlockables so this is just a guide for people who don't use tiktok or something like that.

These clothes you can only get by
finishing the game; each ending has
its own. The game gives you two
choices to make at a specific moment,
and each one influences the ending
you will get in the ending.

• Finish all 5 endings.
  
• Play one more time.

First ending

• In rooftops, don't kill the Caracass.
  
• In mental hospital, don't give the gun to the Doctor.

Second ending

• In rooftops, don't kill the Caracass.
  
• In mental hospital, give the gun to the Doctor.

Third ending

• In rooftops, kill the Caracass.
  
• In mental hospital, don't give the gun to the Doctor.

Fourh ending

• In rooftops, kill the Caracass.
  
• In mental hospital, give the gun to the Doctor.

Fifth/Secret non-cannon ending

• You need to unlock "weird package" beating the fouth ending.
  
• Pick the weird package in secret room in the beggining of the new game.
  
• Stay with the package until the school and put in a yellow mailbox.[medal.tv]
  
• When Simon finally gets home, the secret ending will start.

On the first floor in apartments. I don't know why but when it not appears for me here, but i'm pretty sure it was here.

ModDB is a famous website where modders download their mods, and it's where cof became popular. Before you get to the rooftops, when you get inside the green door on the small apartment, right on the stove will be ModDB's jacket.

You'll need to pick up a fuse to get into the subway, and the first fuse is located inside a school. It's on one of the cafeteria tables, to the right. I recommend picking it up first before picking up the fuse, as monsters spawn soon after the lights go out.

Eventually you'll find a dead cat inside a pipe. You don't need to look for it as it's on the way. Press E or any key you use for utility until Simon says "Hello Kitty".


This one is more complicated to get. First, you must complete ending 4 to unlock the "mystery package."

After that, repeat the same process to get the secret/non-canonical ending of David Leatherhoof.

At one point in David's bad trip, you will arrive in a black room with several numbers on the wall, referencing a stage from the game Afraid of Monsters.


In the "Heaven" level, go to the black room with numbers on the walls. Those are buttons which you can press. Input the code 26-16-4-27-49-2-32-45-12 to receive David's axe.

After that, kill a Twitcher (a common enemy in AOM) using the axe to unlock the outfit.

To get the in-game Custom hoodie in Cry of Fear, you must first unlock all other available outfits and then beat the game one more time. To design and create a custom hoodie, you can use online design tools like Canva or Pacdora to create your design, or you can edit the game's texture files directly using image editing software like Photoshop.

After downloading and extracting the file you choose, go to "Steam\steamapps\common\Cry of Fear\cryoffear\models\costumes" and find the file with the name of the outfit you will replace.


Example: I'm using a mod made by Dravenlove99[gamebanana.com], the legian black metal suit. As the name suggests, it replaces the original black metal skin. So I look for it in the files and drag the mod to the original

I replaced it because of the backup that comes with dravenlove99's folder, but it's important to note that you should keep the original file for backup purposes.

There's a much easier way to do it. Instead of just searching inside the game, you can open one of the files and unlock it using a code for each item.

Using Notepad+, open the file "scriptsettings.dat" in the directory "Steam\steamapps\common\Cry of Fear\cryoffear". Each line is a specific code for something that can be modified.

Using the command table below, locate the file in Notepad+ pressing F5 or clicking "search" and replace the locked code with the unlocked one.







The code for AoM's suit has two variables, which are only differentiated by one letter. In this code, 'd' is the variable when replaced by 'r', unlocks the suit in the secret room.
You can also do this to lock it again (as I did to be able to record the location xd).

In this method, instead of manually modifying it (which is already lame enough), you download a new script file and replace your current one.

Locate the "scriptsettings.dat" file in "Steam\steamapps\common\Cry of Fear\cryoffear" and download the new file found in the Game Banana[http//url%3Dhttps], with all the unlockables. Drag the new file to the same location and replace it.
