custom beta-esque gunship sounds

i saw that tete released a mod that reskinned the gunship to look like it's very first concept art iteration so i thought i would make a little sound replacement for it.

i wanted to create something that sounded very clearly organic (as is the nature of the combine synths anyway) but also add an industrial, "rusty" feeling. the result ended up making the gunship have these really cool, guttural vocalizations (one of which kind of sounds like someone struggling to breathe), and it also gave them this strangely human feel as well which i'm quite proud of (i did use combine soldier death voicelines and mixed them into the gunships pain roars, so that might be why.)

honestly i couldn't be happier with them. i hope you like these sounds as much as i do lol.
