Proficiency Blood Binder Classes

This pack gives us THREE new psionic classes! Blood Reaver, Blood Hunter, and Blood Seer. They have access to unique Psionic weapons and abilities that cost HP to use.

The Blood Reaver is a melee focused class that utilizes its own HP to deal devastating melee attacks and regenerate. They are beastly units that, if trained properly, can withstand a beating and dish it right back.

The Blood Hunter is a sniper-ish class that uses the same HP consumption mechanic to deal huge damage from distance. They also feature a focus system for rune shots. Use their abilities wisely or bring along a healer!

Finally, the Blood Seer is a Mage-like class that has the same HP sacrificial mechanic. These guys are designed to dish out a large amount of AoE damage and provide minimal support for other units. They can provide the proper backbone to any squad and wipe out infantry with powerful psionic spells.

Full Pistol Slot 2.0 support, including support for Omni Tool Sidearm.

UPDATE - Completely redid the classes. Full description in the discussions tab! They now also have GTS perks.

I edited the following line in the XComRPG.ini file in the Config file of the RPGO Blood Binder mod (published by Ohcult Lord, not Viper) from:
+AbilitySlots=(AbilityType=(AbilityName="MZOpenVein"))

To:
+AbilitySlots=(AbilityType=(AbilityName="MZOpenVein", ApplyToWeaponSlot=eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon))


I'm working on going through to do the same with other abilities, but I'm not 100% sure of which ones need it. The short answer should be "just the ones that deal damage".

As best I can tell, the "problem" (which is 90% due to my mod loadout) is Mitruti originally intended Open Vein to work with either Shard Gauntlet or Caster Gauntlet, so it's flagged to look for it's damage profile from the Primary weapon slot first. It does contain the damage array for Psi Amps, though, despite not looking for them at first.

Viper's mod (this mod page) is properly flagged to look for the damage array from the Secondary weapon slot, but the RPGO plugin was NOT set that way. So the "fix" that worked for me IS ONLY NEEDED IF YOU ARE USING THE RPGO VERSION OF THIS MOD.

Sadly Im really unfamiliar with LWOTC. I can confirm that the open vein works as intended in vanilla settings... as for the shadow thorn and terrible thought Ill take a look and see if I can replace them with skills more fitting to the reaver!

I'm using LWOTC and RPGO (and the RPGO version of this mod), but it seems that my Reaver/ Seer hybrid has some weird stuff that may be mods butting heads:
--He doesn't seem to take injury time AT ALL, even when damaged by the enemy.
--Open Vein (the only Seer ability I have unlocked so far) doesn't do any damage, but it does visually trigger as expected
--Terrible Thoughts and Shadow Thorn seem to have some really weird trigger conditions that I'm no understanding. The only time I was able to use Terrible Thoughts was standing on a roof. I was never able to use Shadow Thorn at all.

I'm guessing the Open Vein damage issue is a conflict of the Psi-Underlay and/ or how LWOTC handles psi attacks. I've run into this before and I'll try tweaking stuff from that side.

Overall, I think this is a really cool mod, and I'm looking forward to getting it to work with my crazy duct-taped jumble of inconsistent mods : )

Is the Reaver not supposed to have a standard slash attack anymore? Mine doesn't, am I doing something wrong?

@All these guys don't have a wound time if you are only taking damage from sacrificed hp. I'm not sure how that's happening or why. It must be a mod conflict somewhere. I did some testing and it worked perfectly for me.

Update: Switched around a few perks for Seer and Reaver to make them more viable early game. Less health loss and more survival so you can get them ranked up to shine later.
