British Museum: Artifact Hunting Mod

Welcome to the British Museum - a new modification that adds the famous British Museum to the EU4, as well as new unique mechanics for this monument!

Mod is FULLY COMPATIBLE with any other mod that uses vanilla map or has the same land province ids that this mod requires (20 provinces in total).



Build a new monument and start to collect various artifacts from around the world. Each artifact will provide you a unique bonus, that will be empowered with every level of the British museum.

* Purchase artifacts using the new diplomatic action - Purchase artifacts for independent nations and Purchase Artifacts from Subjects for the subjects of the British museum owner.

* Capture the artifacts by conquering provinces, where the artifacts are located.

* Steal the artifacts while being at war with the nations that own artifacts after upgrading the British Museum to level 2.

* Protect the museum or try to get it! The British Museum and all of the collected artifacts may be stolen, if the province, where the British Museum is located, is occupied by an enemy. Hordes are able to burn the British Museum and all of the artifacts to the ground and get a strong permanent modifier!

* Show your generosity! Random events will require you to invest additional funds in the maintenance of the museum - otherwise, the museum building or some of the artifacts presented in it may be damaged or lost.

* BONUS: Find three hidden artifacts that randomly generate on the map every time you start a new campaign and get even more powerful bonus after completing the collection! There are nine hidden artifacts in total - get a unique experience in every campaign and try to reveal them all!
