Intro
Have you ever wanted to show off some of the cool stuff your colonists have found or made?
Love the reliquaries and relics from Ideology but can't be compelled to invest months of in-game time to retrieve a single relic?
Museums is the mod for you.

Features
- Fence-like buildings to restrict access to pawns
- Signs with different icons
- Display-buildings and pedestals that can display multiple resources
- Room role: Museum
-> Requires at least one watchable building and a museum gathering spot
- Joy logic for solo-touring a museum
- Gatherings for colonists to go on a guided tour
-> Work like parties, triggered randomly with a random organizer
- Watchable Buildings
-> Supported buildings have new gizmos, with which you can define positions from which pawns may look at that building whilst on a museum tour

To display items you simply use the gizmos while having the target display case selected. Click the "Install displayable item" button and select a valid displayable item and a job assigned to Haul work will take care of it.

Mod Support:
You can use this collection to subscribe to all mods that are supported by Museums and work well in a museum setting! Be aware that a lot of mods implement display buildings that are very redundant.

Biomes! Fossils

Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire

- Change galleries quests and requirements to be museum-related instead

Feel like there is a mod missing in this list? Tell me and I'll try to integrate it!

Personal note
There are a few mods out there that implement museums as a part of their features, but they don't work together well and I personally love guided museum tours, that's why this mod exists. Consider supporting your local museums financially (It's tax deductible!)

Are there settings that can be changed to allow individual buildings to be watchable? For instance, the book plinths from Alpha Books? If not, are there tags that could be added via QOL to make them watchable, or would making them watchable require an actual patch?

I just looked, found that, and was coming back to update my comment. The fact that you already beat me to it is insanely impressive. I appreciate you

@FarrunDragon
The displays make use of the feature from the NightmareCore framework, so you have to use the NightmareCore settings.

The display pedestal says that I can change what it can hold in the settings, but I don't see the option. What should I be looking at? menu-> settings -> mod options -> museums?

I can't seem to display my legendary weapons in any of the buildings. As for now, all of my pedestals and display cabinets has a piece of gold on tthem

Are the floor paintings from VFE: Tribals watchable now?
Elizalexa Jones 27. sep. kl. 17:02
Clearly they just wish to view "historical" methods of food gathering and making

Hi ! I think your fishingdecorative mod patch goes a bit too far... the boats, oars, and fish piles are also watchable.

Because the royal pawns request galleries for their titles, you need a whole new room with all kinds of shabang. And removing that makes the game easier, and I don't like that. That's why I asked. :>
