Beskrivning
SP1
Base 233LB-M "Long Boi"
Large base of operations with everything necessary for a comfortable long term stay. Includes 3 landing pads, a hangar, grinder pit and a pistoned connector for large ship refuelling.

  • Note1: Airtightness was being ♥♥♥♥♥ when making this and some rooms leak air through solid blocks while other don't (most notable in the hangar, common area and growing room). Genuinely don't know how to fix this, even with BuildInfo, since restarting/copy-pasting/rebuilding didn't work. So eventually I just gave up and live with the helmet on.
  • Note2: It has a large amount of unused timer blocks since I initially wanted to make an elevator to the hangar, but Klang kept interfering so it's a fixed ramp now.

Congratulation, another fine peace of a base, I like that style. First look schows that refineries 2 and 3 and both cargo containers in that area are not connected with the rest of the conveyor system. Also there isn't a switch for opening the door to the grinder pit. Are these bugs or other way, please explain these features. ;-)

Also, Armor Half Panels don't provide a seal. The side entry in the hangar is using them as a ceiling.

The air leaks in the Growing Room and the Control Room, the ends of 233LB-M, are due to 1x2 Side windows being placed on beam tips, which are not airtight. Only four Beam blocks have air-tightness on 2 sides, the rest of the Beam category does not provide a seal. As for the Hangar, it took some testing but the Slope Base blocks apparently don't seal if placed next to each other in opposing orientation, however, placing them in the same orientation does, lol. Gotta love the wonky mechanics. Love the detail, I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this and it shows. Keep up the great builds!

@Miniblåsan not really, you'll miss some interior doors, dont think I used it for any exterior doors

SE handles air-tightness very poorly on more complex builds such as this one.. You're not doing anything wrong. It's a bug that they are either unable, or unwilling to fix.

I struggle to make an even room fit and you just make it work so well for an entire base! The level of details on that ... the neon under the solar panels ... AWESOME!

im pretty sure airtightness in the entire game is just kinda broken right now
