G2I FBS-99 Drake Light Bomber

The FBS-99 Drake is a light tactical bomber with long-range capabilities and a considerable agility and weapon complement which allows it to act as a multirole heavy fighter for self defense. It is extraordinarily effective at anti-ship direct combat in squadrons, as it can simultaneously fend off fighters with aggression and deliver powerful precision strikes to larger vessels. It is rather expensive and large, requiring significant resources to operate, but as it is primarily used by militaries it is still used to great effect in most of the hands it is in. The craft's extremely long range and crew module allow for extended missions over long distances, possibly even between nearby planets or moons, for more strategic operations. it performs quite well in atmosphere due to considerable investment in its aerodynamic capabilities and specialized plasma turbojets to carry its weight during atmospheric VTOL. The Drake is renowned for its powerful combat offensive capability and excellent flight performance, but is lacking in armor, making it always extremely aggressive in its tactical role and extremely cautious in its strategic role, so as to reduce the capability or probability, respectively, of its adversaries offense. Drakes are popular among high-grade militaries and are the main-line strike craft of the GEN 2 Corporation's pervasive defense forces.
