Make sure your not on driver version 526.47 as this is a version that crashes the most
(Version 522.25 works best for me)

UPDATE: NEWEST NVIDIA DRIVER VERSION 526.86 WORKS WITH MW2

Make sure your windows is fully up to date


check for updates

Download and install any new updates.

Click the windows key and type windows security


click on virus and threat protection


click on virus and threat protection settings


click on exclusions


click add an exclusion


click folder


navigate to the drive you installed MW2 on


click on SteamLibrary


click on SteamApps


Click on Common


find 'Call Of Duty HQ' and click on it


click select folder


The folder should now show up here

Finally Verify your game files

Enjoy mw2 crash free
