An alternative take on the loading screen from Betabound.

Using the loading screen from Betabound as a base, I've made some changes that I think improve the loading screen overall. These changes include removing the drop shadow that can't normally be seen, changing the font of the loading text from the old Beta font to the font currently used in the game, and removing the anti-aliasing on the spiral loading indicator.

This mod is completely independent from Betabound, but still functions with it. If using Betabound, it will replace the loading text and the spiral loading indicator with the new versions I made. However, the loading indicator will still switch like it does in that mod.





Simply consists of two patch files; one for "splash.cinematic," and one for "loading.cinematic." Both including loading animations, which were updated to the new style. A test is ran at the start of the file in two separate instances. They check if the line I got Silver to add on their end is present. If it is, it simply removes the loading icon in the corner, as Betabound doesn't actually do that. If it isn't present, however, my mod will remove the loading icon and patch in the Loading text and spinning icon on my end. Thus, compatibility.

Test patches are a type of patch that tests a something to see if the value is the same or opposite (though, you can only test for the opposite value if you're testing true or false). In the case of the patch below, we are testing if the line "Betabound" is present. "inverse" : true means we are testing if the line is NOT there, and if so, the code will continue.
