Tony Stark was a billionaire who was badly injured in Vietnam (or Afghanistan in the movie) and created a machine to keep him alive, that also was capable of delivering power to his suit, which he created to escape his prison. He then perfected his suit and power source, until he came up with this design. Feedback is appreciated!
