Again, we need a "meh" option. I went into this blind, not knowing how things work. You are locked into your route right away without even knowing whos-who before you pick. Not a huge issue but not great it you're looking for a certain guy.

But really... you don't get to talk. Ever. Its all the spirit in your head and whoever it talking at you. Even as you regain memories, you still never hear your side of things which is just strange. It makes for this odd disconnect. I didn't feel involved. Didn't help that I have zero idea why i was with a guy I might have hated? I didn't end up finishing the route, only good a few hours it. Not for me though.

The dad jokes were great, the dads are all layered and i had a good time playing.

I did find 3 dates too short to really learn about the men. The dad I ended up with I never even found out what happened with the mother of his kid, which seems a bit odd. Also the endings for some of the dad's didnt match up with the tone of my relationships with them during my play (like it only takes into account the dates and not the extra interactions)

I still enjoyed it!

Been playing since EA. Love it! Though I still wish there was a bit more farming ;)

For those who like keyboard and mouse? Dont. I've never struggled so much just with a character creator than I did with this one. Also go motion sickness from the backgrounds.

I didn't know how badly I needed this little game in my life. AND its still EA?! Meaning there will be more to enjoy later? Yes please!

I don't see enough praise for the voice acting. It's so awesomely well done. While the game is shorter then I expected, its very well done and something completely different. I've laughed (lots), died (lots), jump scares? A few. For a game all about getting those smooches, it's a great evening play.

I'd love to see more games like it! Though I worry others might not hold the same charm.

Would I still give the same a thumbs up? Yes. Is the same still a bit rough? Yes. However there is a shocking amount of content and things to do and see. There is some clear gating for some sections, though I found a bit of creative use of some skills can speed those collect-a-thons up. Honestly, I was ok with the gating as I'm into summer and there is still always something on my quest log to do and some days you just want to work on your farm.

Dating is a bit shallow and I've met some of them I have yet to unlock at festivals... which was odd.

Pop in of NPCs is annoying. You'll be asked to meet so and so here but you go there and talk to them but nothing triggers. Walk outside and POOF they are standing there and now they will talk to you. I've missed events because I was waiting with the NPC and not their double with the quest trigger.

Quite a few rough transitions for events where the animation could be improved.

So again, while its improved and "finished" a little more dev time to clean up the edges and there is a soild game you can spent days getting lost in.

I would recommend this for those looking for an evening of play (in its current EA version). It has the base to be epic, a pixel blend of Rune Factory and Stardew.

That being said, its clearly unfinished and some time away from release. Missing a lot of animations (like filling a watering can), no seasons yet (you can plant everything), time just kinda seems to stop at midnight.

That being said, worth the EA if you'd like to support to devs. :)
