Played Quake 2 for the first time ever in 2023, still simple and fun

Creepy-shooter that's a whole lot of fun for players both new and returning to Dead Space.

A lot more platforming and a lot less ammo than Doom 2016, but great fun nonetheless and plenty of fun fast-paced arcade FPS action to be experienced.

Wish I could give this a neutral rating. It's all right to play if you'd like to experience the whole STALKER series, but I didn't really have fun with it. Played mostly vanilla (minimal mods) - there was a lot of tedium and back-and-forth travelling across the recycled maps (from Shadow of Chernobyl). Feels like it might've been released as DLC if DLCs were a thing back in the day.

I really quite enjoyed the co-op mode, although it's a little simple. Story & voice acting spices up the missions, although we aren't able to choose which mission we'd like to play in order to follow the story from A-Z (at the time of this review).

Multiplayer is standard F2P FPS fare, nothing extraordinary. Only tried 1 match of it.

Boomer shooter with an odd taste of humor. Jokes and gags of the game aside, the shooting is really quite all right with plenty enough of variety.

There are a lot of mediocre elements that feel like such a waste and missed potential, especially considering the huge promises CDPR had marketed prior to release. This game is a shell of what they made it out to be. Despite this, as it is, it's still a somewhat enjoyable game with great scenery, cool music, fun and lovable characters, and a reasonable engrossing story. I had fun.

ARPG that feels like a modernized classic. If you are a fan of ARPGs in general, especially of the oldies like Diablo II and Titan Quest, you'll like this one. Though there are some dull moments and times where you'll be going through a lot of previously cleared areas again, as the game sends you back to town if you quit.
