This game needs work. Initially I thought it was just the VR that was broken but I have since played in desktop mode and can confidently say that I was wrong. This game has issues and needs a lot of work in most areas.

The enemies' AI is simple, cheap and unfair. For example, the smiler spawned on me while I was in my inventory and killed me before I could get out of it. Then, after spending 3 minutes finding the door, killed me on the frame I walked through it as it was sitting on my corpse.

Another thing that really bugs me are the controls. The walk speed is painfully slow and there's no option of turning off the terrible mouse smoothing.

The only good parts of this game are the puzzles, which work really well imo, and the multiplayer. Wait for this game to be fixed or play something else.

Do not play this game in VR in its current state. It's incredibly unoptimised, leading to motion sickness. On top of that, there are occasional screen effects which are only there to give you even more motion sickness. The controls also don't work properly on the Valve Index. Lastly, opening files in VR gets you stuck in the menu and you need to restart. Notes work fine but the button to close them is so hard to see.

This game does have potential and I believe it will probably be a good experience in the future, but the VR needs work. The only reason this review is set to not recommended is because I bought it based on it being advertised as a VR compatible, multiplayer backrooms game and it hasn't delivered. The multiplayer is there and works seamlessly so far, and the backrooms are there too (although I didn't get to see much of it before I had to leave VR due to a headache and nausea). If the VR gets improvements this review will probably change to recommended.

Hard DLC but good and longer than DLC1.

Really small DLC. But not bad. Don't pay full price for it.

Sometimes frustrating but not as hard as people make it out to be as long as you keep calm and focus. Very good game.

Play it you twonk

Best one yet. Could easily double the price.

fun with friends

This game replicates PS1 horror games perfectly. I tried running it on my CRT and it looked fantastic.
